Mine will not take a 3 inch branch. The chute will only pass a 2 1/2 inch branch. Called them and they sent me a new chute. It was no larger and the mounting holes were too small. Sent them some email and no response after 2 weeks.Mine will choke down after aout 4 feet of large branches.

Definitely underpowered. Even for a 3" capacity shredder. Same thing happens to me.
