@@FINDYHARMON there is an app that lots of churches use that pulls selected parts from a mix and increases its volume so it’s easier to learn by ear. The app my church uses is called “services”
Hey David, I just wanna say this song means so much to me! I just lost my auntie Thursday and I just wanted to say thanks for this tutorial because I definitely wanna play this for her on guitar since while she was her she always wanted me to play guitar for her and I was to scared to or had a messed up guitar. But, thanks for the video it’s helping a lot in terms of practicing and just hearing the chorus is exactly how I feel about her. Stay safe, David! And if you or when you see this can you say a prayer for me and my family? God bless you and good luck to you and the family and I wish nothing but the best to you all!
Thank you David for taking the time to teach us how you are playing these songs!! The way you explain what you're doing for each part along with the effects is a huge help and time saver! Now we just need to get Jonathan on board with his finer details! 😁🤣🤣
Hey David, thank you so much for these tutorials! Would you mind making a video directed towards how you go about creating parts for songs? I would love to know your creative process.
I bought your IR pack for the iridium and I’ve been getting tons of compliments on the sound at church! Crazy how good they are. I’m using the Green backs AC30s 545 3 position mostly.
Really late to the party here! I know you’re using a reverse delay in the intro. Is it synced to the bpm and if so, which subdivision are you using for it? Thanks so much for posting this!
Hi..love the sound..I'm intrigued by the edge of breakup sort of trailing sustain that you get in your chords for the chorus. For example 3:35. What is that sound? Is that the long tail reverb or is it your compressor sustain or some delay? Thanks
Hey David awesome tutorial! How would you set the timing of the reverse delay on the intro. Quarter notes? Also, how long is that reverb set for the lead lines in the chorus?
i've literally watched the last three videos that you posted and it just made me laugh that you cut the same intro in each of the three videos! Way to be efficient! haha Love the videos though, they have truly helped me become a better player for my church just from watching your approach and technique though I would just to talk to you about your approach sometime! thanks man!
Hey David, thank for you this. How do you ensure your tone has enough chorus but doesnt get too flangery when you have dirt running behind your chorus? Thank you! - Bob
Such a great video! Love your sounds and parts! I will say the adds are super brutal on these videos though hahaha, keeps popping up several while I'm trying to jam out to the playthrough
Hi David, will you be able to share the settings for the tri chorus? I've been trying to set this up on my Pod hd500x and can't get the chorus sounding right.
Continued to be blessed with these vids man, thank you! Still waiting on how you dial in your amps 👀👀. When you capture your kemper profiles, are the amps set up on what you run with the portlander? I’m currently running crema humbuckers so that is why I ask. Thanks!
