Mr. Reich A big shit show. In 2016, a few women said that Hesketh engaged in creepy behavior or had sex with them while they were 14-16. The problem is none of the victims/accusers wanted to pursue charges against Hesketh. Washington State has a ten year statue of limitations on sex crimes and some of the accusations would’ve also qualified for a federal investigation by the FBI. There are police in Washington that are former hardcore kids and the FBI & CIA have a ton of them too (Clean Lifestyles help you get hired into the feds, so there are a ton of Mormons and former straight edge kids lol) However, since none of the victims wanted to file a complaint, an actual investigation was never done. Between you and me, Hesketh is pretty dumb. He ain’t the sharpest knife in the drawer nor the brightest bulb. If an investigation was done and he did do the crimes and accusations laid against him: evidence would’ve been found and he would’ve went to jail. Dumb guys don’t cover their tracks. Old text messages from cellphones, data from his computer’s hard drives, social media, emails that contained his old AIM chatroom messages. There would have been plenty to nab him on. However, he got canceled, his new band broke up and he’s off the Internet (at least not using his birth name) but that’s about it. He could’ve legally changed his name and moved somewhere, still doing the same shit. We’ll never know what really went down, if he’s innocent or guilty . It’s why more people in the scene need to press charges against the sex offenders in bands. I mean we have our people, former hardcore scene folks, in the FBI. An impartial, fact based investigation would lock up the scumbags and clear the names of the possibly innocent.

@@thelostmotel209 sorry for the late response- but at the time, i had a female friend (as to mention we were all 16 at the time) i believe the singer was a few years older but apparently they we’re hanging out on the night of the rivalry showcase fest and she at school the next day said how the singer bought her booze with a fake ID and hooked up with her in the champion van and i some how after the show, went on “yahoo punk/hardcore/ska” chat group and met a girl who coincidentally was the singers gf at the time and i def spilt the beans to her and apparently everything went down hill for him after that.
