I'm actually surprised they went for Kendra Saunders and not Shayera Hol since most folk recognize her from the animated Justice League series.

That is true, but I think they are going with the new 52 formula.. Shayera would have been a bit more unique

Know, the Kendra Saunders in the 52 (Earth2 anyway) was radically different from the Pre-Reboot Kendra.

Every time i hop onto this game i always end up with 10 minute ques that always go on to last for like 40 minutes no matter what map i use.

An anti-blaster champion. Cool though I wish she didn't smile in her character model. Looks...odd. Her kit does look very powerful. There's a knockup, silence, speed boost and gap closer. Even her stolen power is probably strong, depending how long the extended version is. It could be the replacement for every player(who is not playing blasters) who's running Flash's stolen power. Ah, we'll see how she makes an impact out once she's released. A good character to start out the year. I still waiting for Turbine to release the holy trinity ( Lex Luthor, Nightwing, and Deathstroke)

It's not like Super Girl's smile which is out of character for her. Hawk Girl smiles a lot.

I typically use Super Speed to cover great distances, so Flash's Super Speed is still ideal for me. Most champions I play have a knack for not letting enemies escape, anyway (i.e. GasFat) Still, Hawkgirl's Super Speed is very interesting, and if combined with Lobo's Chain and/or Velocity 9 Implants, could be absolutely devastating, especially since she has that gap closer in case they have an escape skill.

Interesting.... We havent any AD based champion speciallized in countering Mages in League of Legends despite there is one in DOTA 2, the Antimage... its cool how there is one in IC too

Maria Canals-Barrera is voicing Hawkgirl. Just as she did in the JL animated series. Hale does a good job indeed, she always reminds me of Commander Shepard xD but Maria is the true voice of Hawkgirl. And I am so glad to hear her again making funny remarks towards Flash. xD

Little worried about that extended silence length and the soar cooldown. I feel like 18 seconds is a little too quick, for lvl 1 at least, when you can potentially reset it with a kill. Other than that she seems good. Serious counter for most blasters and a great addition.

Andrew Snippy Uhh I don't hate the game. But hawkgirl skill set here is you know, has no originality. What I'm upset about is that the maker of this champ is so lazy that all of her skill is just a copy paste from another. I mean I'm upset about league too because of the copy paste thing but they are now making champs that has no equal, unique For like example Yasuo. And I'm a moba enthusiast, and there is no way that I will hate this genre. Just saying you know.

Gaius Mugenus Silverus Time makes every game better believe me. The devs will look into new ways to improve champions with new skill sets. Remember..league had 5 years to develop into what it is today. Probably one day somebody at Turbine will come with a great idea for hero or villain X. But in terms of moba I believe most of the games take from one another. Hawkgirls ultimate in IC kinda feels like her ultimate in Injustice tho.

Oookay, now i'm completely confused. I have to admit, i don't read that many comics nowadays, but i did read Earth 2 and Kendra Saunders has a very different origin story. (She also uses guns) So can somebody please clarify what the heck is going on?

This is earth prime Kendra (the main universe) which is a different Kendra entirely than the one in Earth 2 who got her powers from an egyptian relic blessed with the power of Ra, The Helm of Doctor Fate was also in that same pyramid

MrBoosterfy I appreciate your attempt to clarify things, but the story still isn't correct. I just checked the wiki page and even pre52 Earth 1 Kendra has a different story. Oh, well, i guess. Not like it's important in a game like this anyway.
