Furthermore, the spine of the Italy side that got to the Euro2012 final was Juventus. Buffon, Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini, Pirlo and Marchisio, not to mention others played vital roles in Italy playing so well in that tournament. They wiped the floor with "favourites" Germany and only lost to an immense Spain in the final. Chelsea have lost Drogba, undoubtedly Chelsea's talisman, and haven't replaced him with anyone to do him justice. Juve have the better keeper, defence and midfield. Not easy.
I love how everyone is ruling out Juventus. You say "home win" as if it's a given. Juve won serie A last season without a single loss. They only lost the final of the Italian Cup with a second string side to a very good Napoli. They won the Italian SuperCup this season and have won 3 out of 3 games in the start of the current campaign. A loss for Juve would be a major upset in their trend. Torres is inconsistent, and with Pirlo/Vidal/Marchisio, Juve have a formidable midfield.
