As an Englishman, Wembley has had far too many finals. Plus the stadium itself is massively overrated. Tottenham, Etihad or the Emirates could easily hold a final. All far better than Wembley
Well it has the advantage of being neutral and can hold a lot more fans. But it's probably the facilities that UEFA can impress all their highly paid dignitaries that mean Wembley keeps getting it.
I'm German but I have to admit that wembley is the place with the most history in football so i can understand that they keep getting finals. Munich Olympic stadium wasn't good either but it still got a lot of finals. 2013 was bc of the 150th birthday of FA I think.

It might be even epic if two finalists were Premier League side, especially if Liverpool and Man City or Man United were competing in the final. Can't wait for the upcoming 2024 UCL Final in Wembley.
Those stadiums have slightly lesser capacity, which is a high risk for hooliganism. UEFA could only host the Champions League Final in the stadium with 60,000 people or more.
8x wembley 4x milan, roma, bernabeu, Heysel, Vienne 2x only for Camp Nou, probably more with their next renovations. some places seemed improbable like Porto which took advantage of the covid, Arena Schalke or Arena Amsterdam not very big but which were ultra modern when they went out.

I wonder why UEFA don't appoint Wembley as definitive host of the Champions League final. There are lots of better stadiums than Wembley in Europe, but they always choose Wembley
Been to six of those stadiums, enjoyed going but think that some of the modern stadiums are becoming a bit soulless. Not a fan of Wembley at all, location around stadium, high prices, its so overrated.
