One of the first few campsites on the left, is where our family took our first camping trip. I was 4 yrs old. And we had 1957 Chevrolet Wagon, pulling an 16ft Chieftain trailer. They used to have talent competitions at the ampatheater. And I will NEVER forget walking one evening as family around the paved trail just outside the park, when the Bats came out. They were swooping down quite low. And I absolutely die laughing thinking back at my mother's and grandmother's high pitched screams of......Aahhhhhh!!!.....with arms a flailing! 😂😂😂😂 After seeing so many bats at one time, I've had a love affair with them ever since. It never gets old, watching these magnificent creatures eat. There is a low percentage of being bitten by one. And I've spent the majority of my life outdoors, and have never been bitten by one. I live about 2.5 hrs from here, now. And I can't wait to visit her again, soon.
Any Feedback on fitting a 26' trailer in spot A05 with a 19' truck. Spot says 50ft but notes Pickup campers only, small motorhomes 25' or under. Please be aware that this site can be VERY Difficult for large vehicles to back in to.
