Nice Tutorial... well made! What i miss a little bit - (like nearly all -how to play- Tutorials on RU-vid) are a few minutes of just the rhythm section and how exact to count this rhythm. Play one time complete over the song while counting.. maybe with a metronom ... especially where the slaps are placed. But anyway, again, this is well made
Great video! ( the Gm in the chord progression is actually a Gm6 not a Gm7 :) ) it might have confused beginners who are learning music theory. Apart from that very well done
1998 - in a local Supermarket In Germany this Music Played I never had heard anything even close so mysterious I bought the CD in the store instantly unforgettable No Drama reflection of Hemingway in Cuba the World I LOVE to Live no Drama I printed a Poster with this picture: The Music shows the WORLD you live in
@@renatofleri6882 he teach all what you need to get it.. The rest are fillers. once you have mastered this technique, you will be able to decorate your melody and it sounds really similar. Try and dont give up, you get it!
Alright, im a beginner. I checked every Chan Chan Tutorial out there in RU-vid. Your Play Style Sounds definately best, by far. But its kind of Impossible for me to Play. Im stuck on the second Chord already...
Maybe you should play easier songs for a while, and then come back. You will realize this tutorial could not be done easier and more understandable, and it is far better than tabs. Tabs will not give you info about dynamics, sound, feeling, nothing than makes this song what it is. So just keep trying and record yourself, when you listen your recordings after a while, you will realize how much progress did you make. Good luck and keep playing!
Following Marcos lesson I learned to play guitar after 25 years of my practice, Thankyou very much may God give your very long life to give more and more tutorials
Can you please do a tutorial of the song Candela by Buena vista social club. I love that song and i cannot even find one tutorial on it and I'm not an expert enough to figure out the intro myself. Please please please do a tutorial of that song
Bravissimo Marco, just another great video and teaching. The hardest part for me is playing all the sections together keeping the tempo at the same time, I find this rhythm quite challenging, Do you reckon it is best to practice it with a metronome? Grazie mille
With all due respect, the backbeat that you are putting (your hand hitting on the beats 2 & 4) turns the groove... how should I say it... too “white”... Cuban son does not have the same groove as pop, rock, funk, or whatever. If you hit your hand on every offbeat, maybe the result would be better.
Hello Marco, your guitar sounds fantastic, what model is it? I see that it can be plugged in, it has a 10 sound! 👍👌 Could you tell me if it is very expensive? Thank you so much !
Hmm, this is an interesting chord progression i - III - iv - V7 V7 is borrowed from parallel major Four chords, sounds simple, but the melody line is complex, and chords are not that basic What an amazing song it is
please can you do tutorial "laputa'castle in the sky'" i couldnt find tutorial about this song :/ and actually some tutorials are so hard for me (because i cant see them right fingers), hope you see and read :)
Oh man, I heard this song and went to search for the tab, opened the first video and recognized Mark's guitar immediately. I'm a subscriber for a few years already and I really like his style and approach to guitar, so its cool to find his video randomly like this. And this is very cool Cuban song.
Personally I like picking harder songs as a beginner. It gives you something to put your teeth in and you'll see day by day progress for a very long time. I pick three areas to work on in general: the basics, learning chords etc, an easier song and a difficult one. This way you can mix up your sessions.
Hi Marco , I really appreciate your talent as a teacher and also the song you've chosen to demonstrate to us all . Thank you for posting this really fun music !
I know you put this video tutorial up years ago, but I finally got a guitar and this song is at the top of my list to learn. Breaking it down like you did will make my goal possible. And for this I am grateful. Thanks Marco!!!
Thank you! You do an amazing job. I started learning this song last week and came across your lesson yesterday. You are the best teacher of this I have found. Much appreciated !!!
Bro this is a classical guitar it’s strings are made of nylon, you might have an acoustic guitar which has steel strings that’s why both sound different but both are equally good
vraiment trop top, une semaine de travail, je l'ai chopé mais je ne n arrive pas a jouer avec le scratche...c est du haut niveau ....merci quand même la version est vraiment au top....
People should know how a F is played. Pls don’t waste time on that. And please name the sites by their name and not by a number. That’s just too many numbers than! Gets so confusing and annoying. Apart from that good lesson!
Thank you !! just discover few of your video tonight but now it's going to be difficult to get up this morning. I just finish 3 lessons ! Its time to go to bed but I can't stooooopp !!! Si senor ...chan chan de Cuba !
