@@user-cvbnm it is a late release, shot in 2002 most likely. the lab at evernew and bari studios in lahore back then had the same developing machines since the 70s, and every facet of the filmmaking process was on an extremely low budget. the color and quality was due to a number of things including expired film stock, worn out chemicals, lack of attention to detail when color grading, mishandling of the film when editing on the same moviola machines since the 40s, and the list goes on. even with all these, a final print would still look pretty decent. the problem is that this print may have been shown so many times (hence the scratches), and the color may even be faded due to horrible storage conditions. oh and the sound system they use is the RCA optical sound system, which when used properly sounds pretty good. but, for all the reasons explained above, it sounds awful.
