Chan Hong Lik 5 yrs old Youngest Blindfolded Rubik´s Cube Solver in the World 

To clarify, this was a DNF. Because when he took the blindfold off, he was still touching the cube. The only time you are allowed to take it off is when you stopeed the timer or when you drop the cube and take it off and don't touch the cube and either stop the timer now or ask the judge with stopwatch to stop the stopwatch. But come on, he's 5 and he basically did the solve. I can do it around 9-10min and my best time being 6:30.00

This kid is crazy awesome. I can't even solve the rubiks cube blindfolded. I would be blessed if it took me TWICE as long to blind solve it.

I managed to solve the cube in 52sec a few weeks after I bought it and was really happy about that result. Can't imagine I could ever learn to do it blindfolded, and this kid is 5. But I wonder; is being this young an advantage or do you think it makes it more difficult?

In speed solving, when you finish, you know that it's solved. You use algorithms to solve, so you know when it's solved. Duh. What did you expect, for him to never finish? Lol

Not really, they have the choice to see after they are done if the cube was solved correctly or not. But they cant put it back on. read them carefully
