Being from Saudi Arabia I have lots of Indian and Pakistani community that i have lots of friends with. I was introduced to this dish back in 1999 and loved it ever since. Sometimes i make it as breakfast for my wife and kids 👍 Thank you
I don’t comment on videos ever but I just have to say that I made this and it was hands down the best chana masala I have ever had!! The instructions were so simple to follow and it has so much flavor which I loved. The only thing I did different was add 3 green chilies instead of one because I like more spice.
I'm japanese and when I came to India for a trip years ago , I tasted the chickpea curry in a restaurant. And for the past few days I have been craving chickpea curry and brought some chickpeas from the market but don't know how to cook it. Thanks for showing the cooking method.
I have never been able to make a chickpea recipe I like until now. Instructions were easy to follow and the dish was so delicious and full of flavor, thank you!
Really good recipe to follow. I adjusted it a little according to how my mum would show me, but she can’t now as she is in heaven. It tastes just like her cooking. I even used this recipe to cook chicken tikka today. Was delicious. Thank you soo much 🙏🏽
Omg so good. I also added ginger and tasted amazing it. I notice that you didnt put garlic in the ingredient list. Anyways i was watching the video and i didnt miss it. Great simple chill and easy to follow! Cant wait to try more
@@CookwithNabeela garlic paste its still missing in the instructions, also ingredients says cumin powder, instruction says cumin seeds.. i was able to figure it out anyways and loved the recipe!!
I made this for a prep ! It was easy and tasty I can’t believe I could recreate it.Only thing is it was a little salty so I wouldn’t follow the recommended salt ingredient I would add it to taste
Why doesn't jeera go in with the spices earlier? Why at the end? At the end it doesn't have time to bloom in the oil and develop, right? A pinch of garam masala or kasoori methi at the end makes sense, but all the raw jeera?
Made it last night and at first i feared that there was too much turmeric and garlic but cooked it well and turned out delicious! Nice, with strong masala and well salted and spiced. Thanks! :)
@@CookwithNabeela you are welcome I want to teach me how to cook and Indian food because I normally cook it there food like dal sabgi briyani and others
I've tried it once. And I am going to cook it again tomorrow. It's so delicious and simple to make! I loved it a lot! Thank you so much for sharing this recipe Nabeela!!!!
So delicious! I really enjoyed making this for my family. They all enjoyed it and we really like your recipe! Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful recipe. I will be checking out more videos from your channel definitely!
You can make garlic paste, just mince it the finest you can, sprinkle saltover the chopped garlic, and smash the mixture against the cutting board with the side of your knife, and you'll find that it will resemble a paste
If you use canned, then there is no need but if you use fresh then you should soak overnight and this will soften them. If you have less time then yes you can boil them 🙂
In this video i am using fresh chickpeas which need to be soaked. If you want to use canned chickpeas then they will cook much faster as they are already cooked. I normally cook the canned chickpeas for about 10 -15 mins. I hope this helps and thanks for watching my video :)
@@CookwithNabeela I noticed you added Cumin at the end but I didn't add it because I was following the video and not the notes. Is it safe to add it at the end?
Very nice recipe - just a few tweaks Two salt is too much and I think the oil was a bit too much as well Served with garlic naan and Moroccan grilled lamb
Wow ! Thanks for sharing your video! I need to try it. Just subscribed to you. Lets support each other on RU-vid! Big Like to your channel ! Keep it up! Stay connected!)!!
