So many idiots in the comment section. This is the first time I have ever seen a video from this guy and even I can say that he did nothing wrong. If he did not go against the TOS then he did nothing wrong. If some random idiot comes and trades me 1k gold I am going to accept it, no where in the TOS does it say you have to do anything the person says after they successfully trade you gold. I do hope this GM has been fired for his extremely unprofessional behavior and abuse of power.

I've spoken with like, 20 Blizzard GMs in-game. *NONE* ever typed as slow, and as terribly as they did in this video. What, was that a 10 year old GM? Something is terribly fishy.

Should have asked for an exact quote from TOS and mentioned that people donate gold to you all the time, and that you don't duel every person you trade, but whatever, the GM was still being stupid.

I picked up a dollar bill on the ground yesterday, but then I found out the original owner of that dollar bill 12 years ago wanted to buy a bag chips with the dollar but then lost it. This dollar bill is now sadly dead currency and is unable to be used ever again.

It's funny that so many people don't get that this is about the principle of it. 1000 gold is nothing. It's about standing up for what you believe in, it's about integrity. It doesn't matter if he gives the money back or not, it matters that he did not accept them under false pretenses. There is an order to doing things right. You don't just come to me, give me money and THEN you tell me why you gave them to me for. First you state your reason, then we agree or disagree on it and only then comes the transaction if we agreed, otherwise you're just stupid. Dat 3 hour troll though. :D

Chance Morris You have to learn to take the high road more often and stop trying to find ways to get around it. If the guy gave you the gold to do duel and you didn't duel him then it's clear your at fault. Remember Blizzard keeps logs on everything when events took place and what was said when. So you need to stop being child and grow up, you should have just given the player his 1k gold and bowed out gracefully. Instead you acted like a screaming little brat who wasn't allowed to get his own way after he broke the rules.

As far as the Terms of Service goes, he should not have been banned, in fact the GM was supposed to IGNORE whatever ticket he was given by the other player, because GMs are not entitled to handle situations such as those. The GM had no right whatsoever to ban him, despite what was said in any of the GM convos. Blizzard employees have posted threads about trading items and the issue is among the players themselves if any issues occur. Apart from that, he said HIMSELF, he would have traded back the 1k gold. He showed us his inventory, he can definitely wipe his ass with 1k gold. The thing is, the GM/player who traded him the gold, traded it, whispered him something, got ignored, and then reports him, even though THEY are the one who initiated and ended the trade, then they tell a GM that Chance 'STOLE' the gold, which isn't even POSSIBLE unless he had control of the person's account. TL;DR, Onikifu is a retarded ass GM and if I ever have a ticket responded to by him I'm immediately logging out.

I hope you escalated this issue with Blizzard. The GM was genuinely wrong in this matter. There are no terms that state that when someone trades you gold you automatically abide by their terms. If they allow this then what's to stop every troll who wants to get you banned by repeating this?

If someone says to do something because you're in the wrong when in actuality you're not, then there's no reason to back down for any reason. Even if he agreed, is he required to follow through? Or is it just good manners to follow through? I doubt there's anything in the TOS about agreements between players in game. The person should be more careful with his gold if 1k meant so much he had to get a GM involved.

Here's a question: have you ever done anything bad to the WoW community before that may of resulted in you getting reported. Keep in mind, that I'm not talking about getting reported and then having a GM talk to you. I'm just talking about trolling, being a douche, griefing, talking shit, going AFK in a LFD/LFR/BG or anything to other players that may of angered them and have them report you for whatever thing you did. If so, then that's probably why a GM was demanding you to pay the 1k gold and you got a 3 hour suspension. Every report a player opens for another player is kept in archive! I have never worked for Blizzard, but I have seen what GM tools for other online game companies look like and they keep EVERYTHING!!! They can open up a player's account profile on their screen and they will have everything on you! Every single person that has reported you, every complaint towards you, EVERYTHING!!! If you have a recorded history of being reported by many players, you may of fell on a pissed of GM at the wrong time, he looked at your player report history and decided it was time for some payback. I personally don't think I have a huge report record. I act respectfully and play well in WoW 99.99999~% of the time, but there have been moments where I did sorta rip people off and refused to pay back or give their items back because of principal. Like I used to scan the Cross-Faction AH in Booty Bay and every now and then I would find a really awesome BOE epic or a stack of crafting mats for only 1 copper and I would BUY IT OUT right away! Then moments later I would get whispers or mail asking me to hand the item(s) back and that they would give me like 100g for it or something. I would just ignore them and if they would start harassing me with whispers and threaten to report me to Blizzard, I just reply back: "I dunno what you're talking about" and /ignore again. I ***NEVER*** spoke a GM for this doing! I never got suspended, banned, got the item taken back or gold removed cause I resold the items for hundreds to thousands of gold! NEVER!! Why? Because i'm a teacher's pet WoW player. I've never given anyone ingame a reason to report me, I have a good record, and sniping 1 copper items off the Cross-faction AH from someone that was trying to transfer items in between factions is not violating any TOS. Or this one time on one of my alts, I got BOE Red Whelpling pet (this was before Pet Battles) in the mail from someone I don't know. I already had it and they were going for at least 15k gold several years ago back in Cata. I sold it, the 15k gold was never taken back, I never spoke to a GM. I think it's because my alt's name was very similar to another player, so they sent the pet to the wrong player, they probably didn't even know who it was sent to, they probably even opened a GM ticket about it, but nothing was ever done to me! I imagine it's because, once again, I'm a model player.

I have to say, I was working as a Game Master for 3 years in Blizzard and my personal opinion for this agent is that he was wrong. When some player randomly gives you his gold, you are not to be charged for as you are guilty or something. He gave you that gold and you did not steal his gold. In the end. That agent did wrong. Also, there is no such thing in ToS for dueling and random trading gold. Furthermore, the agent has no rights to suspend your account for such reasons, to actually suspend someone account you need a lot more and senior permission for that and to get that, he needs a very good reason, which that agent did not give. Period
