boipelo polite if you think chance cute you'll think my brother's cute he looks just like chance when we went to new York somebody said what's up chance and my brother's a rapper too
no lmaooooooo wtf him working with people doesn't force him into their group he is just really good friends with Kanye. Drakes worked with nearly everyone on GOOD music but we don't say he is in GOOD music lmao
You've got to check out Coloring Book. Blessings & Blessings (Reprise) are both great! Same Drugs is my favorite song from that mixtape. His verse on Kanye West's Ultralight Beam is immaculate. His song with Macklemore called Need to Know is phenomenal. He's a great talent and great personality.
Chance is woke af. He knows that the music industry will chew him up and spit him out and he refuses to be fucked over by them. That's super wise and commendable. I wish him the most success.
Sophie Agudelo wtf are you talking about he's won multiple awards, been on tons of talk shows, and is selling out 38,000 people arenas under appreciate you finna what
how did he perform on jimmy fallon? is it because of his streams? how does that benefit their? oh i guess more people watch his show if a rapper they like is on there. wow. amazing.
You could see the excitement in his face around 1:23 when he realized he was on the Ellen show, very humble and genuine dude. Just became one of my favorite rappers.
He has worked for it ,but I don't like how everybody just is now realizing how great he is. I have no problems with bandwagoning you're still helping chance also this was off topic af
sergio garcia I've been listening to him since 10 days I'm definitely not a bandwagon but I do understand where you're coming from I do see a lot of people who just found out about him and think they are his biggest fand
i respect him so much for blessing his fans with music for Free and i love how he has control over his own music simply by not being in the music business by signing GIVE HIM A GRAMMY
Moneyminty you're sick man, you must love all the underground artists for the sole reason they're underground artists, fuck me for being glad this guy is succeeding in his line of work. Like you said no one cares about the mainstream crowd, even though they make up the majority of their fanbase and attend his concerts and buy his songs to show support
KickingAssDaily yeah because Wayne wasn't rapping since the late 90's aka Hot Boyz and Big timers manner fresh and birdman to when he owned 2009. Change your name clown.
U gotta love Chance the Rapper! Genuine dude right? I wish him longevity in this game. Young ppl need an ambassador that's not talking so much nonsense but being an example as to how you handle your business and your brand image. BlessUp!
I saw him live in buffalo years ago back in Acid days, didnt know who he was while I was looking at him but I knew I became a fan instantly. He had the same high energy back then on the Mac Miller tour. Props for making it bro!
+Andrew Camacho I wouldn't say 100% freedom, but labels can help immensely for people who are just trying to get their name out there by concert shows/club appearances or just simply having that name on a brand to generate artificial respect. The issue with labels is label owners like Diddy and Birdman barely promote their artists and think them just being on the label team is enough. Chance could find a good balance of being a fair owner, since he's young and cares about the subject of the issue.
theres no particular balance, finance doesnt work that way, unless they take charity donations. They would have to put money into an artist to be able to promote that artist, nothing is free, then the artist has to do "work" so they get that money back. Art is how its perceived by the general public, so just because they think that artist is talented doesnt mean that the world will think that. so after they spend all this money, they will make a loss if the artist doesnt make it. Now tell me, would you put your money on the line ? coz that is how it works, overall, record labels have portflios, some make money some dont, so they rip everyone off to make an overall profit
Labels are there to publish/ promote/ direct the artist. A label with full freedom would be counterintuitive as people sign to a label to get big and earn money and in turn they get told what tomdo
This guy is paving a new way to get into music for everyone trying to get there. He is showing that there is more than one way to do it. I'm so glad to have seen him blow up the way he did.
I just love how he keeps getting so star-struck. :) You can also just see this level of gratefulness and humility on his face whenever he does these interviews. It's not the staged, trite humbleness most artists practice. It's just a genuine selflessness and vulnerability no one wants to ever show. It's really beautiful. I see why he's resonating so much with people. I mean....everyone in the audience looks like they're about to cry. Super cool young man. That grace just radiates.
What are they supposed to do? Dance and entertain us? Sing like a choir? They're doing the right thing. You probably expect them to talk and yell out things, but that would be chaotic since this is supposed to be an interview for him and Ellen to talk.
He just seems like the most chill, humble dude ever. He doesn't have an ego and he doesn't try to make himself be 'cool' or whatever. He's just himself.
+Nitalia Taylor he recently said in an interview that he smokes weed everyday LOL watch his interview with Nardwuar a couple months ago, in that interview he is HIIIIGH AF xD he doesn´t do acid anymore
Wow I've never watched an interview with him, just loved his music but this guy is amazing! So humble and down to earth. One of my favorite people right now for sure.
One of my favorites!!!! Seeing him live last year was so amazing, I cried. The fact that he still came the day after his daughter was born proves he cares about the fans. I love him 💕 Everyone should go see him once in their lives tbh 😭
