Chandeleur Island trip day 1&2 with Due South Charters!!(CATCH CLEAN COOK)

Headed out to Mississippi to go to Chandeleur island for the 8th year in a row. Chandeleur Island holds tons of monster redfish and tons of trout. This video is kind of a tour of the the charter and the island and how it works. We caught tons of trout and hung a few big reds. If you've never been to Chandeleur check this video out. Its and awesome experience and unbelievable fishing.

The new Due South is actually 110’ and the skiffs are 14’. We do the same trip with Southern Sportfishing every year. Always a blast.

@@TexasBred good luck bro. Just got back. White paddle tails with a long leader and popping cork and also a top water/ Zara spook did best. Try new harbor island, shrimp boat and red buoy/can

It’s a fun trip. Putt is good 6 staples were taken out today and it had to be recleaned and stitched. He is 6’7 400 tough sob. Jud my partner won 19 1/2 inch trout. 3 spots on red and 29 3/4 red won this year. Crazy that won last year 29 1/4 won trout and 8 spots on a red and 34 inch red. We go in oct every year and this year I picked summer so my boys could go. Thx for watching
