Wow.. you have been super busy preparing all your fabric. With your extra pieces leftover.. I've used mine when I make my backing. If you can make an extra block or two to add a little interest to your back. Love how Luna sneaks in for some attention. 🥰😺
Thank you, it did take some time to prep all of the fabric for sure. I do like the idea of adding the remaining fabric to the backing. I also considered making a patchwork throw pillow to match. Luna is such a silly girl. She definitely keeps me grounded.
So I seriously had to think about it a minute. I think I actually used all 1/4 inch seam allowance when sewing. Are you talking about cutting measurements or sewing seams
@@jenniferssewingandcreativity Sorry. I shouldn't have said "seams"; I meant to say strip. For the background fabric, the instructions say to cut 2 strips 13-3/8" x WOF, and subcut 1 square 6-7/8". So, I wondered whether it would be ok to cut to 13-1/4" and 7", instead.
@@janiceyaraskovitch3368 Ok, I'm not sure honestly. You may have to square up the blocks when done. I cut them to the size it said and they went together really easily. You could try cutting enough fabric for one block in the sizes you mentioned and see how the construction works out.
I was able to go to the MSQC website and get a picture of it. You can also go to the website and if you go to the pre-cuts option at the top of the screen, a little side window will pop up and you click where it says charm packs, and then another screen will pop up and it says buy charm packs but just to the right you will see as little part that says learn more about 5-in squares and charm packs in parentheses. Click on that and then it will say a big paragraph comes up and it says 5-in squares charm packs and to the right, below the picture of Jenny, there will be a paragraph that has red writing that says " charm pack quilting tutorial collection". If you click on that and a type in "chandelier quilt" The quilt pattern for this tutorial will come up. Then just click on it and if you scroll down it will say the quilt size tutorial resources and you will see where it says download PDF click on download PDF and you will have the free pattern. I really hope this helps
