Being blind by birth God gave him such a beautiful voice and sofi lyrics , it is a divine gift to him and he was also Hafiz Quran which is a Gifted soul, non replaceable voice so far A gem of Kashmiri singer

So tough to translate it in real senses but I shall try my best according to the little bit of knowledge I posses. The only distinguishing fact that I must mention here is that this is the only poetry in the entire history of Kashmir which has two writers. Though most of its verses have been written by Mahmood Gaami, but originally some of its verses including the first verse has been found among the Lallæ Vaakhs ( Rhymes of Lallæ Déd) and later it has beautifully been extended by Mahmood Gami. So if this poetry is found solely attributed to Lallæ Déd or Gami, it shall be a communicative or transformative error. wALLAH hu Aalam.... The translation follows; Chaanei Bartal raavim raetchye, Awaaz waetcye no... I lost/ wasted/ spent (but in vain) nights at your door, Didn't the voice reach you? Khæs zarr tye, baŕ gye chætchye, Chaess swargaetch Yemberzal, Vairei bumbraen gayas samaetchye, Awaaz waetcye no.... Khæs means the earthen vessels in which milk is kept to be set into curd, so the poet says that the curd vessels became spoiled in your wait.. Baŕ gye chaetchye: means the multicoloured flowers became dormant ( shed their beautiful petals)_ as the flowers do at the end of the flowering season.. Chaess swargaetch yemberzal: Swarg is a Hindi word meaning Paradise/ Heaven.. Yemberzal/ Nargis (Narcissus) is a flower that declares the arrival of spring in Kashmir. The stories of Bumbur (bumble bee) and Yemberzal are so famous in Kashmir that they are believed to be a loving couple that never meet. It is believed that when Bumbur arrives, the Yemberzal is dormant... Here, Lallæ Déd calls herself 'Sorgaetch Yembarzal' means Yemberzal of Paradise. Vairei Bumbrae gæyas Samaetchye: Samath is a hindi word like swarg, meaning to come to an end. So the verse may be translated as.. In the love/yearning of Bumbur ( bumble bee) I (Yemberzal) have come to an end. Didn't the voice reach you.. Sahibo lagye chanei qudraetchye, Yanae wuchmye nooranae chyiun.. Chanei nooraech chaem talab yaetchye, Awaaz waetcye no. Sahibo is often attributed to Allah, as Mehjoor says: Sahibo satth chaem mye chaenye, But at times it may be attributed to our beloved Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم as Sheikhul Aalam says: Hazrat Sidiqas tass durdaans, yus awal saehiban hyut paans saet... In this verse poet attributes Saehib to ALLAH saying, My Lord! May I be sacrificed over your Majesty, Since I have seen your noor (Light), I have the only desire to see it ( repeatedly and uninterrupted ). Didn't my voice reach you? Bael Baeleei, mye pakh tche yaetchye, gael kaetya samnsaaran, kaeman soortchan gatchan myaetchye, Awaaz waetcye no... This verse is written by Mahmood Gami.. Bael is often used as an imaginary world for a friend, beloved or a dear one... Here he conveys to Bael (friend/beloved) to refrain from walking half footed (proudly) on the surface of the earth.. How many have been consumed by the world, How beautiful moulds (faces) return to the soil (means, are decomposed) Didn't the voice reach you? Yarae kaerths aarye kaetchye, kharae thowtham gulabo, Maswal chaess neindre haetchye, awaaz waetcye no.. My beloved how helpless/ pity/torn apart, have you (your love) made me, You (rose) have kept me guessing or you have increased my desire.. I am Maswal (Iris) just awaken from the sleep... Here Mahmood Gami mentions about Rose and Iris, the stories of whom too have gained fair fame in Kashmir.. Didn't the voice reach you? Keinzei Barimye saarey nyamaetchye, kheinei Sahibo aham na zahñ.. Keinz is a special vessel in Kashmir used for eating rice in.. Here Lallæ Ded says, My Lord! (Or O Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم) I kept all the dishes packed in Keinz, but you never came to eat them. Adae naaw pyium Lallæ Matchye.. After this I came to be called as Lallæ Maetch ( Crazy Lallæ) Didn't the voice reach you? As I am listening to the song, I find a verse has been interchangeably placed with another.. Here it is actually, Andd Kun chaess mandchyamatchye.. meaning.... Since you didn't come so I am ashamed and have sought isolation (towards some corner) I think the above verse is where Lallæ says Lallei Nilwath tcholum nae zahñ.. Wallahu Aalam.. Garei kaednas sarey jamaetchye, Sar-e-Raah chum watnawan.. Mahmood Gami says that somebody took me out from my house and is bringing me towads the road.... Andd kun chaess... (translated above) Mahmoodo duniyahs tsan tchye, satae satae par Istegafaar. Kael samkho qayamaetchye, Awaaz waetcye no... O Mahmood contempate the world, and along (repeatedly) keep reciting the words of Forgiveness.. Here Mahmood advises/motivates himself to seek repentance. After an unknown time, shall we meet at the day of resurrection (Day of Judgement) Didn't the voice reach you?

Though Kashmiri grammer is completely taken from Sanskrit but I have always noticed the main words spoken by kashmiri muslims are persian or arabic. This song has so many sanskrit words, like swarg (heaven), Samsaram (world).
