The bag itself is not heavy but the chains has some weight to it however I don’t think it’s as heavy as a Chanel jumbo flap . It’s a little heavier than the classic medium large .
It’s similar to the smaller one. There are videos out there comparing the pochette metis to the smaller one (which according to Chanel is actually called just the flap 19 or the medium) the 10 inch one. The larger of the two that she showed is actually called the large by Chanel.
I think I love this bag. Debating between small and medium as well. I know you mentioned the medium is similar to a speedy 30. Would you say the small would be similar to speedy 25 in terms of what can fit? Thanks!!!
I do not own this bag - honestly I feel it can likely fit more than the m/l (because that one is so structured) but on the other hand items bulging is not a good look.. so realistically i doubt you can fit that much more than in m/l (which really isn't that much). I own m/l and speedy 25 and speedy 25 is one big hole due to its shape fits SO much!! :)

I saw the small 19 in ths store in the fabric (not tweed) and loved the look of the small however inside it was smaller then I expected. I love everything about this bag! Hello again! I tried getting this but so hard to find the small. Could you tell me if the leather is shimmery or not? I tried one on in gray. It was really nice too but I prefer black like yours. I have seen several pictures of the black but unsure about the finish on the leather. Thanks 😊
