I just received mine today from Selfridges. My Chanel collection is now complete. I heard a lot of people complaining the chain is too thin but compared to the coco handle it’s a a lot thicker but not as thick as the classic mini.
A detachable strap is always welcome for more options. If one pay so much for the handbag, don't they want it to be more versatile? I know we can put the strap inside but it will for sure take up some space inside not to mentioned one may also ruin the strap if not careful. Anyway, Congrats.

Love this bag but could not get on a reserve list anywhere!! -I am 5’4 so as you are only 5ft -If i did find it iI am afraid it would be to short? I do not care at all that the chain is not removable but as it is a top handle the chain is attached to the handle like the coco handle and therefore cannot be shortened with a clip or tie like the regular mini. Like the longer strap on mini’s so they can be adjusted under the flap.

Beautiful bag! I’m considering it. Does the top handle stay upright or does it fold forward when wearing and how does the handle feel when wearing it and opening flap to get inside? thanks for sharing.
Yes it can bend forward or backwards a little but it a bit stiff to do so, it doesn’t bother me with handle being there as the bag is super lightweight not like coco handle where the handle keep getting in a way or dig in to my rips. Very easy to het thing in and out.
