Sorry if someone already pointed this out, but you are right about the eyeshadows being more subtle. As a French brand, Chanel's aesthetic has always been more classic and natural which the majority of makeup users prefer there. I have seen people upset because they can't get a Pat McGrath look out of a Chanel palette. That's just not what Chanel is trying to achieve. Thank you for mentioning that in the video. Great demonstrations and review.

i really love chanel products bc they fit my aesthetic of french inspired beauty. chanel eye shadows offer a beautiful subtly that i appreciate. there are tons of highly pigmented shadows on the market, these are for us that want something different. i have oily lids so most trendy eyeshadows look horrible by lunch. i have oily/light med skin tone, and do enjoy the highlight stick in scultping. it does not feel sticky or bothersome at all. gives my face the perfect amount of glow and vibrancy. its my newest chanel makeup piece and i wear it everyday :) great video!!!
I love that you do natural look unlike over the top trend that I hate. I am a Chanel fan too as the make up does not show texture or pores and it’s hydrating. I love their eyeshadows too as they are a sheen shadow rather than muddy pigments

I love everything I have ever purchased from Chanel. The prices are a splurge but I’ve never been let down or regretted any of it. In fact it’s some of the select few products I completely use up ❤️ Would love to see Laura Mercier! It’s a brand I loved years ago but have gotten away from, but some of the new launches have been so good.

@@oliviahope9848 thank you so much 🤍 I was actually able to clear it and now only use a VERY simple skincare routine- vanicream face wash and cerave BABY Cream and that’s it! With makeup, however, I find less is more… I love a dewy minimal look and definitely rely on concealer. I enjoy bronzer ( I found a fa safe one) and blush (looking for a good fa safe one though) as well and really want to find a good fa safe luminizer- but mostly all luminizers contain oils, esters or other fungal acne trigger ingredients and/or fragrance… so my search continues.

Ok so did you not just cover up that 1st luminous application in the beginning of this video by using all these other cover ups? And now your using the dewey stick one that is almost as luminous looking as the 1st applicators.. Omg I cannot believe you posted this JUST in time. Do you think the Chanel baume essentiel’s (cream stick highlight) would work for oily skin? I don’t really mind the sticky feeling. I tried Maybelline naked dare as you recommended but it ended up looking so pasty on me. What can I do to make it look less pasty and white? I am the same color as you but don't know why it came off looking bad on me

I was lucky to visit the flagship Chanel store in Paris this past June. I am now a Chanel makeup and skin care convert. Love the product but wish the fragrance was lighter as fragrance in products can give me a headache very quickly. I’m hoping to build up a tolerance because I love the product

I personally don't have an issue with eyeshadows. I find then pretty well pigmented but so easy to blend. I only wish the quads (I OWN 8) had more matte shades in. Im gonna try those lipsticks tho.👍👍🥰
