Hello everyone,
Hope you have all had a fantastic year and are in high spirits for the holiday season ahead! I couldn’t put up the video last week because it got jam-packed with work. But I hope you guys will still enjoy this new video on my classic flap collection this weekend.
I also wanted to discuss why I have stopped shopping at Chanel over the past year, even though I have been a loyal customer of the brand for many years. Let me know your thoughts on this matter as well!

80% price increase for lower quality, worse service, lack of convenient online shopping, no higher wages passed to workers or supply chain ... that's a blatant money grab and complete disregard toward their customers.

Really enjoyed this video. I agree with your points. Ive got older Chanel bags & vintage and I am in love with them. The quality is unmatched. Would love to see an Hermes collection video, similar to this one & more styling videos. Thanks hun

Have really enjoyed your videos this year. Agree 💯 with your take on Chanel, I won’t shop there now and I sold my classic flap anyway. Would love a comparison video on your white mini square with your white Kelly. Maybe a styling video? I would love a white bag but unsure if I should go for H prices for my first 😳 Happy Christmas and New Year!

Thanks Sarah! We’ll definitely do some Chanel vs Hermes comparisons in the future. In terms of capacities the square mini would be more fairly compared with a Constance mini and visually they are quite similar as well 💙 White bags are more hardwearing than you can imagine! Especially if you go for a more durable leather. Wishing you all the best!

We’ll do a white square mini vs mini Constance comparison, I happen to have a white one! A white kelly may be hard to obtain unless you choose the reseller route.

What a beautiful collection! ❤❤ So true that they’re running a business at the end of the day. I do feel that they’re becoming more and more focused on short term sales vs longer term brand building. As you say, such a shame given the fascinating story with Coco Chanel etc.

I just bought my first chanel jumbo with gold hardware last month from the store in singapore, i really like how they have a metal plate for their authencity, now i’m not sure whether to add on a second flap or should i try other brands or should i continue buying from chanel.

It’s depends 🤍 Chanel did just have another price increase, but the classic flaps will always be a timeless piece to have in your collection.
