The issue I have is that brands like Chanel are no longer asking people to pay for the quality of their items like back in the day. I get that there is the issue of exclusivity, but there is nothing you can say to me to make me pay Eur 8000 simply to be associated with a name. Like really, who are you?!?! The superfakes were really well made, sturdy, and had zero quality issues. Of course it doesn't feel the same as carrying a real bag. Each person should decide what is important to her/him.

I’m very happy with my authentic ones. The problem with replicas is either they are very fake in weight, appearance and the shape / finishing (in this case i prefer a nice Zara bag or a coccinelle in leather) or very close to the real ones but cost as much as a used but in excellent condition (sometimes with receipt ) from trusted reselling sites. And replica designer articles have zero resale value.

Yes quality and materials might not be the same but some dupes are pretty good. The authentic bag’s flap was quite badly made compared to the fake. I think the fake was better made. If someone open their authentic one beside me I would have assumed it was a lower grade fake. The biggest difference was the colour of the chain.

You are lucky that your thrift store has such great prices. Be all of my local thrift stores price everything as if you are shopping at Neiman Marcus. Even if the *esluxs* are not real name brand. That's one reason why I don't go thrifting anymore. Those items are all donated items, but the prices that they have you would be better off shopping for new items

Hi! Does the CC lock for medium flap chanel needs to have stamping if it’s made in France? I’ve read that it is made in Italy if there’s none and it’s made in France if it has stamp mark on the left C. I’m about to buy a bag from Japan it says it’s made in france but no stamping. Could it be fake?
Idk if many people know this but the most obvious difference would have to be at the back on the upper left & right where there is a dented area @4:23 the replica is more dented compared to the authentic, and sometimes uneven whereas the authentic dents are more even if that makes sense. I'm actually surprised that the original has a slight dent to it as it actually kinda ruins the sleek look, I wonder if it's the same for all authentic chanels
When few retired bag makers make bags altogether and use the same materials, we call them master copy here in our area. They can also copy the box and inclusions. But the bags, they spend more time on them than the boxes and receipts
