Chanel has always and forever been part of the lux and classic world. I remember when I was a little girl I wanted to dress like the Chanel ladies. The world has totally taken a blind eye it seems to the classical fashion. Yes some of the pieces were not shall we say “emphasized” enough but also remember please the old expression, “the clothes wear the model, not the model wear the clothes.” Sometimes these beautiful young ladies forget that, or haven’t experienced that feeling yet. Chanel customer for life 💜
I think this is a very wearable collection, love the new soft look, woolly tights with minis, little dresses, longer hemlines, and plushy textures. Some real inspiration here
"wearable" is the right adjective, as well as other description of the comment. For people who don't want to be as picky as some edgy artistical minds, this show looks great.
OK, just my opinion but tights should never bag at the ankles. In the UK we say baggy ankle tights looks like Nora Battey who was a character in Last of the summer wine, her thick tights always bagged around the ankles, standing joke, never expected to see them on the runway!
The fabrics are fantastic. The pink is fun and flattering but the tights plus boots remind me of "women who plow". The long coats a d jackets are exceptional and I am crazy about almost all of them. It's a bravo!
This is the most inspired collection of beautiful fabrics, cuts and tailoring. Each one is classic and memorable! The models showed off the clothes to perfection with their clean and exquisite poise. Not one on the runway that I would not want... or copy these trends for myself. Such grace and stature. This is THE STANDARD TO REACH. Thanks for the breathtaking collection.
Some of the tailoring needed work. But the color palate was refreshing! No to the hideous and massively wide over the knee rubber boots that were a variation of the far more tailored rubber boots made in the UK by Hunter.
Beautiful tweeds! Wonderful full sailor pants! Fun tiny square bags! Lovely long black lace dress that would make the perfect top coat! Keep Hope Alive, in 2022! I like some of the pieces, not sure how I feel about the 'cutesy eclectic' feel of some parts of the show. Seems to be a thing on runways nowadays. This is just a question, not just about this runway, but about most that I have seen, why are models 'briefed' to look blank or scowl? One or two of them know how to emote through their eyes and use their body language to look graceful. Sadly many of them do not know how to glide gracefully down the runway, but almost look like they are sulky, entitled prima donnas rushing to get to the end of the catwalk. I am questioning the coaches who work with the models in preparing for the shows.
If you said these pieces are from Zara or H&M I will believe you. Maybe Chanel has better quality and only better quality now, if you are willing to pay 100x more. Genuinely not sure where do other "stunning" and "chic" comments come from.
They look blank because they are walking mannequins, this isnt a VS show...the show should be about the clothes and the models shouldnt be distracting (like some shows they are dancing and waving about)...i prefer it because i want to pay attention to the beautiful fabric and let it be the star of the runway
Des couleurs harmonieuses et gaies très positives pour l'hiver à venir, excessivement facile à porter. Des collants à ne pas savoir lesquels choisir, le top du top !!!
