she has managed to cover just about all figure types and style choices in one cohesive show. feminine but not femme, business but not male, colourful but not brash. nd the back of the simple wedding dress is amazing, pleats starting at just the right spot, it hits just the right tone.

I've been watching a few of these fashion shows and what stood out in this one was the SHOES. I had just commented to a friend that I loved the fact that other shows were getting away from the standard pointy toed stiletto heels and going for more flats and funky wedges which, to me anyway, look more modern. I'm 72 and this show was very 50s. Nice clothes for a trad wedding but....
She was showing us new/vintage silhouettes, dresses evocative of another era. I enjoyed that aspect, but I found this show was a bit all over the place.
There are some fantastic designers at Chanel who are doing an amazing job of tweaking the usual from Chanel...imagine what they could do if left to their own devices
J'adore les silhouettes, les matieres, les textures, les grandes jupes avec plein de volants, l'ambiance romantique, mais parfois quand meme je trouve que ca manque de couleur. Avec cette directrice artistique on vit dans un univers en noir et blanc colorise, pas dans le monde en quatre couleurs.
While the pieces were all nice, other than some glitz added to a few, I didn't see anything singing a new song, and was left feeling very ho hum over the supposedly new collection.
The audience is too far away from the models. I cannot imagine that no one complained about that. If Chanel wants its guests to buy, they need to be able to see the product up closer. Plus, they are losing out on some of the runway vibe being so far away.

Yea this was super boring , without him u can actually see what's lacking !!! Anyways sales will settle this argument shortly !!! ( she will be out in no time ). Somehow women when designing for other women tend tone down the drama men on the other hand tend up the drama !!! Nothing trend worthy here!!!
