I have the rose highlighter and eyeshadow palette. I’m considering going back for the nail polishes and eye gloss to on the brow bone or as a lip gloss. The dark red lipstick was a little too yellow in tone for me, so I got the Rouge Allure L’Extrait in 834 (Rose Turbulent), which leans between true red and very slightly cool red. The pencil in Cuivre Dore is perfect with the eye palette. I also like the Metal Terracotta Le Volume mascara from spring 2021 (I bought a couple of extras). In addition the Rouge Profond blush applied with a light hand works well with this look. All in all it’s a classic beautiful Chanel holiday look.

I won’t be buying the huge compact of highlighter that I can’t use except for on my eyes. I wish Chanel would come out with broader ranges. I feel like with many releases, their 2-4 products are just too limited.

Hi Erin! I already have the eyeshadow palette and the rose highlighter and I’m in love. They are so gorgeous on and I am now planning to pick up that red polish and copper topper and maybe that greenish one too since it looks unique. The eyeshadows are stunning, this is a look with impact walking into a holiday party. Really makes your blue eyes pop. Anyone with medium to deep skin tones will look gorgeous in these shades. I picked up the amber top coat nail polish. Macy’s has it online plus the highlighters and the gloss compact. Nordstrom has the gold No. 5 body oil up, for those who missed it last summer.

Omg what an incredibly intense red is that lip color, 89!! Wow! And I do love the 88 as well! It’s such a pretty, soft color. I am only interested in those two and the nail polishes😍 not even considering the huge highlighters. Went to the store today, i only picked up the body oils, Claire de lune nail polish and 827 brun lunaire. The green nail polish was really unique and the lipstick was a perfect brown red for me. bright reds does not look good on me. I recommend you going to the store to try out the product before buying. Swatches the eyeshadow and was to warm for me and was like orange gold tones. I tried the rose ombre lipstick but i felt like it needed to be more opaque. The red nail polish was like any other reds and the gold topper didnt wow me in person. The bottle looks nice and more opaque but it was like a clear gloss with small warm gold flakes. Tried the highlighters and felt like it was to dark and warm for me. I am a B20-B30.

I love the collection. I love how it looks on you. You are so beautiful. Unfortunately, this color story doesn't work for me (light/med BR32 in Chanel). I have the eternally misunderstood olive skin tone. It wasn't until a couple of years ago from a Japanese channel that I learned my complexion is actually cool toned when lighter and cool/neutral when I am tan. Game changer! Cool to neutral colors look best on me. Yellow, gold, most orange tones , most peach tones, ...all bad. Chanel "Pink Explosion" Blush looks very natural with my skin tone. "Jersey" Blush makes me look like I have a cold. Crazy. I may pick up one of the holiday sets and some nail polish. Thank you again for the great review!

Everything you said (except I'm a B10 or 20) applies to me as well. I am happy to know that I'm not the only one who automatically wonders first will this look orange on me? LOL. Pink Explosion is my favorite blush--pretty much my only blush. I bought a back up before they changed the formula. I bought the Rouge Allure Laque Erin showed last, number 89, and have my fingers crossed that it won't go warm on me. One thing I found re foundation that helps me is Chanel's Rosy Light Drops. Only available on Chanel's website. I love it. Just a glow and I mix it with my foundation to keep any yellow away. Anyway, thanks for commenting from a another beauty lover with "eternally misunderstood olive skin tone." :) Mary

@@eventsperson5465 : )) I love the Rosy Light Drops too! I bought a backup of Pink Explosion too! So glad we did. And I also have trouble with lip products not looking anything like in the tube. Neutral looking nudes usually look orangey. Very frustrating. I found the best product to combat yellow is KOH GEN DO Maifanshi Makeup Color Base in the shade "Green" (squeeze tube). It is a cool toned pale blueish green color. I mix it directly into any foundation or concealer that is too yellow. The main description says it gets rid of redness, but I saw the Japanese makeup artist demonstrate it in foundation and concealer that are too yellow. It really works. Crazy good. I guess it makes sense because blue (it is a blue green) and yellow makes green which brings the foundation closest to your true undertone, where as while cool pink adds coolness, pink and yellow makes peach. Peach is better than yellow but still not perfect unless you have tanned. The product doesn't change the texture of your foundation/concealer. Start with a drop or two on the back of your hand and find the right amount to get the foundation to match your skin perfectly. Or you can spread directly all over before applying your foundation. At first I tried various drug store color correctors in similar tones and some worked better than others but textures were not great. Then I got Koh Gen Doh product. It is truly is my favorite.

@@dreicher Ooooh, I ran right over to the KOH GEN DO site and looked at the green makeup color base. I bookmarked it and will keep it in mind, thank you! Right now the Rosy Light Drops are working their magic, but as well all know, Chanel loves to discontinue popular products, or change their formulas, so nice to know there's something else out there. Re nude lipstick: I looked at swatches of Chanel's Fall 2022 nude lipsticks and thought the shade Nuance might work for me. I haven't bought it yet, though. Any of the lighter shades in that collection would look ghastly on me. Currently for a nude, I use either a Rouge Coco Shine (a discontinued pink) over Chanel's lip liner in Rose Naturel or I use Chanel's lip gloss in Icing over that lip liner. I want to try Bois De Rose lipliner, as it's more pink, under some other nudes that aren't working for me. I actually tend to wear red or some version of pink as I have dark hair and pale skin. The nudes either wash me out or, as you say, look orangey. Like Erin, I love Chanel's Rouge Duo Ultra Tenue but can only speak for Chic Rosewood and Ever Red out of the current colors.
