I am comparing a Chanel Jacket and a St John Jacket. There are many similarities and of course, differences. Coco Chanel started the Chanel company and Marie St. John Gray founded the St. John company. I will share features on both of these beautiful jackets. I love my St John pieces. They are comfortable to wear and so classic I think you could wear them for years.

The most important thing about St John is that except for the Caviar color line, all blacks match - the black trim on a jacket will match a black skirt or pants. It's timeless that way. I have St John pants that are over ten years old and they still look like new, and match many black-trimmed jackets. Also, they are easily custom fitted. The St John boutique can expand or "shrink" a skirt or jacket by several inches using steam. St John should never be tight! StJohn are investment pieces.

Actually, that pink suit was a dupe made for by an American designer. As America’s First Lady, she was expected to wear American made clothing to I guess be patriotic. She did indeed wear Chanel a lot but after getting called out by American press, she went out of her way to make sure she wore American brands.

Jackie Kennedy’s pink ‘Chanel’ suit was not Chanel. It was a Chanel copy made by Chez Ninon in New York based on the original design. JFK was adamant about her wearing American couture. She was never a ‘face’ of Chanel.

I LOOOOVE THAT CHANEL JACKET!.. I’ve been wanting that exact jacket but Unfortunitly haven’t been able to find a pre loved one in my size😭 Great vid gorgeous... Idk Escada pwnes 80% of St. John.. very interesting! Best pre loved item I found at a savers was a Gorgeous Hermès lambskin hat! Only 6$🎉🎊 I wear it all the time.. I wish I could insert a pic.. also have found numerous Gucci bags and fendi etc.. but that’s the only Hermès pieces I’ve ever found at a thrift shop.. great video! Do you have a site to resell or are you doing a brick and mortar store? Great vid and god bless🙏🏻 I think thrifting is soo fun! I can spend hours in savers! I have found some unbelievable vintage HIGHEND bags for next to nothing!😍😍😍 I truely think savers is literally modern day treasure hunting! I’ve found several pairs of Chanel etc shoes and even if they don’t fit me - I buy them and resell them. I loove fashion and I know sooo many brands. So I will buy brands idc much for I.e. michael Kors bag for like 8$ & resell it for at least 50$+shipping.. I usually keep all the really highend pieces (unless it’s shoes to small etc) and sell the rest on eBay 😂 But it’s amazing money for bags or clothes I do want..😉

Jul’s Jewels what’s your name on eBay? I sell on eBay too.😉 My name on there was made before I started selling so it’s just “Moatjess” I wanted to sell on poshmark but I don’t like the fact they take 20% of every sale off the top.. eBay only takes 10% that’s what made me go with eBay... But yeah when I wasn’t working last year. I would literally go to the same savers every single day and That’s when I was finding the best stuff. Lately I have only had time to go once a week at most due to work..😔 But It’s just unbelievable the stuff people donate!.. I always think omgness don’t they realize they could have made a couple hundred off this bag. I’ve Never found any authentic lv bags or authentic Chanel bags. However I’ve gotten savers pairs of lv and Chanel shoes, plus even found some wonderful Chanel clothes too..😉 Last Friday I went thrifting and found a gorgeous black leather long long champ bag with a gold metal bamboo piece that goes thru a leather loop for the closure. (it’s a enormous bag and reminds me of a never full) then I found a gorgeous Fendi Zucca print bag & since Nikki been wearing zucca print so much = EVERYONE wants it now. A year ago I’d carry a fendi bag and ppl would literally ask what kind of bag is that?. 🤣 But it makes it easier to reselll and brings up a higher profit for me..🎊🎉 I just find it pathetic though how no one wants the brand till they see a celebrity wear it.. It’s literally like they have no brains of their own..: 🤣🤣🤣

One problem I ran into with St.John was the color black changed a bit and the Jackets that I had, (Black) did not match a new skirt I purchased (Caviar). Any information on the color change?

Do you know the color codes for St. John? Blues are hard to identify such as diff between cobalt blue and royal blue.

I do not. I think that since they are seasonal they are hard to find. Go onto the St John Collection website and see what the colors are for this year.
