Owned this car for more than a year now, nothing but A+ experience, I absolutely love this car and its far better than over priced trash like Yaris snd City.
Apart from the solid build quality and stellar fuel economy, the DCT variant of this car is maintenence heavy after accumulating 30k. The DCT transmission fluid costs Rs. 50ks. The initial units require coolant to be replaced early or the DCT oil will seep into the coolant. The newer units now have an improved radiator. Also, this car is not customization friendly. The aftermarket android head unit costs almost 1 lakhs plus there is no option for fog lights, which is an essential requirement in winter season, if you're living in the Punjab region. Driving with a DCT transmission in heavy stop-and-go traffic requires a different technique as compared to a standard torque converter or CVT. Being a wet type transmission, overheating issue is minimized but it can still function erratically at times. If not taken care of, the DCT costs a fortune to fix. If I were to buy the Alsvin, I'd buy the manual version. I say this with my past experience and you have every right to disagree.
@@majidali-iw4ifDon't mention it, brother. You can inquire about the DCT fluid price from the dealership. As for the fog lights issue, that didn't help at all as the stock halogens are extremely weak. Generally, that is the case with all locally assembled cars, even Toyotas and Hondas. But don't get me wrong. The Alsvin is a very nice car. I like it for its compact size and solid body structure.
Changan Alswin has a manufacturing fault that no one talks about, please you should raise your voice over it unless you have a monetary gain from them. Alswin has a Catalyst issue, the sensor starts giving an error after 40,000 KMs normally and then it gets regular every time almost you get petrol. I went to the service centre as my car is maintained by them only, they said it needs to be replaced for 350,000 and warranty doesn't cover it, and there's no guarantee that it will not happen again. I asked why is this they said it's because it's made for Euro5 petrol and Pak has Euro2, and that's somehow the customers fault? I have discussed and argued with them a lot of times and every Alswin almost they get has this same issue. Still no result I have their reps recording saying that yes it's a manufacturing fault but we can't do anything about it, and everytime the error comes you have to pay them to clean the sensor or get it done outside but it's not a solution.

@@Aziz.phenomenal Being practical != 'not knowing any better' I own a 2020 corolla and all I care about in a car is the reliability, and I know I can get it fixed in any corner of this country if it gets to that and I don't have to worry about bottoming out in most situations while driving it. I don't care about resale as much though. If I was a car enthusiast on the other hand that would be a different story, I still won't buy Alsvin though, I'd get a civic and enjoy the ride and reliability, only down side is it's ground clearance.

Yaris is much better than alsvin, she said that the grip of alsvin is good but i drove the car upto 140 the grip was not good and also the car front lights are poor, while driving the car the road visibility is poor. And also the fuel avg of 1.5 Lumiere version is not good around 11.
Ye sahib Viraat Kohli sy bohat milty hein, Virat ko ainak lagai hui lagti hae 😊😃 Alswin ky 44 nhi milengy yehi to masla hae, new to aap lelety ho lekin baad mein dealer ky paas sale karny jao to wo Yaris bhi lelega, Swift aur City bhi lekin isky liay pesay bohat kam lagaaiga. would not recommend alsvin at all.After 10k kilometeres it had numerous mechanical issues such as transmisson issues, engine issues etc. the company is not cooperative at all.the fuel average shown on the metre is incorrect . when u calcculate it manually its way less than it says.overall the built quality is not impressive as well.
the car jerks every time you change gear from reverse to drive or drive to park. when tell the company about this they say that this is the issue with its transmission and has no solution. also there is a very loud noise when change gears
