I fixed mine by first leaving it upside down and discharging it with load, while it was upside down, then recharge while upside darn gel needs mixing repeat until the sucker takes a charge Also the as wall unit inside that says 16 DC out do go bad too, had one that was bad
It could have been a very good video, had you clearly shown the battery label reflecting the make and specification of the battery taken out and the one replaced with. Too bad! Good thing Maverick was more informative. Thank you Maverick!
the purpose of the video was that the equipment would not be dropped because there was the option to change the internal battery and how to change it. At no time was it a class of electronics or electromechanics or commerce. it was an elementary process of change. the search for the replacement of the battery, its specifications and purchase is the responsibility of the one who owns the equipment. For complete or complex specifications, look for another saw. Thank you for your comment on this elementary process.
@@frankj.monfranz6064 if you pause the video you can see it clearly. Ita a Deliberate 6fm-18 I thing any 12v 18ah battery will work. the problem is that you can buy an entire unit from costco for the price of one of these batterys!
@@jediknight8308 yeah, i did notice elsewhere a post says the replacement costs 65 dlls. I bought my PSX2 as a costco return for 35 dlls. It sold at retail for 65 dlls. But there must be a cheaper version
Mine will barely take a charge, but after 1 day its dead again. Not exactly useful if its supposed to get you out of a tough spot. Might try this, specially if the replacement battery is half the price of a new unit
When you live on an island, everything comes by American boat and is more expensive. There are cheaper batteries but none of the companies mail them (plane). Only one option left?
when i try to charge the powerstation the charging light just blinks and nothing happens, does that mean the battery is dead or is it another problem? thanks
I was wondering the same thing Joe. I watched it on a larger Monitor and zoomed in and I believe the battery he is pulling out is a 6FM-18 www.amazon.com/dp/B078PY394D/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_UyynCb7AW1CYB Mine sat in storage for 3 years was never charged. I may have to make this change myself. Good luck!
$65 dollars? I could save if I would buy a new one just for $59 :) Anyway, maybe I could find a cheaper battery. I know it is a duracell battery but any specific model? where did you buy it?
Jorge Ortiz what was the battery model number again? Thinking about buying the replacement battery..my box looks brand new. Got it out of a house eviction I did!!
I do not understand the question. The old battery can not be refused or passed to another person because it is damaged and the battery must be disposed of according to the environmental regulations of each state or country.
Jorge Ortiz because I was wondering if there's a broad the regulates the voltage and if it would be affected if u connect 2 or 3 batterys in a series/row
This is not designed to connect 2 batteries together; In fact, there is no space for 2. I have not found information from the manufacturer that allows that connection.
Buy the battery in a store specializing in batteries of all kinds. Sometimes the cost of the new battery is equal to or greater than the price you paid for the charger. I recommend you investigate if it is more convenient to change the battery or change equipment.
