Great Video Thanks for the Info. I have a question regarding taking a alpha numeric tracking number field and using sql to determine the service type to create a url string to insert into an out going Boyum P&D email. Any idea on how to accomplish this?

Mike is there a way to change the field color of a line item depending on a query. Example On a production order I would like to highlight the Part number field of a child component if that item has a min stock qty specified on its item master

Hi Connor! Absolutely. You need to use a B1 Validation of some sort (trigger from a field or entering the item on a production order) then use a Universal Function macro with a conditional statement. I have done dynamic field colouring before. I have a video on BP data load functions that is somewhat applicable here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xzW_yMRSphU.html it's not 100% the scenario but has lots of the same concepts. Hi Mike, thanks for this video! is it possible to change a row color in the sales order screen when the quantity is negative? i want negative lines to stick out.

Hello! As far as my experimentation goes it doesn't work like Excel. At one point I was able to change the colour of a column in a matrix, but definitely not a specific field in a matrix unfortunately. You can however do all the highlighting and changes you want on individually placed header fields on a document (or wherever else) but just not in the matrices themselves.
