Thanks for the video. Very helpful. The only thing I would do differently would be to always disconnect the negative term first. You could cause a short circuit with the wrench to the positive terminal if you accidently touched something.

before changing the fuel pump on KIA sportage 2010 or similar , first check the fuel relay which is located on the fuses box at engine area, secondly make sure the engine ignition electronic key chip is inside the key, if the engine won't start then check the fuel pump....Omar/Kuwait
My 2009 kia sportage cut off while driving down the highway. Just the Engine cut out but all the interior lights and dash lights still work. We tried to put a diagnostic scandal on it to see what codes it might throw and it's not throwing any codes at all. But now the power is out altogetherWith the car so I assume the battery was too low to use the scan tool? Or does that even matter? How would I go about checking the fuel relay? It cranks but it's not getting a spark or something's not engaging to make it turn over but it is cranking if that helps? Please help we just got this car not even 3 months ago and it's doing this. I can not afford to take it to a shop with a $300 amount of car payment on it and unfortunately I bought it as is.
Great Video Thank you! The only Filter I see it the Screen on the outside? Is there another filter inside the Plastic housing. I cleaned the Screen and dirty Brown Gasoline still coming out of Hose. Or is my fuel pump bad?

Hello, i have a problem with my kia sportage 2005 2.0L I4 The car starts but when driving it feel like that the fuel pump is not sending enough fuel the car tops out at 4-4.5k rpm (redline starts at 7) I have cleaned air intake and checked exhaust. I have checked the fuel pump assembly for flow rate and it looks it is low but i am not sure is the fuel pump or the fuel filter need changing.
I was told if I push the yelay button it would start my car. My car acts as if it wants to start but knot catching At first. Know my battery is dead. Something is draining my battery. Had the battery charged put it back in my car it started to crank but didn't.
