25 years ago I unintentionally started the tradition of buying a “tribute gun” every time a significant figure in my life passed away. In 2020 I lost my Labrador, Moose, and bought a nice pinned and recessed S&W 19 4”. Soon after I ordered a Hank Sloan from Doc and it is my favorite holster, just ahead of the Outfitter model. Great stuff!
The absolute wealth of knowledge provided in these videos is something really unobtainable until now in my humble opinion. Old school gunology at its finest.
Something that I'm not putting together is what is the curved leather part above the mouth of the holster do? Is it to shroud the hammer from digging or cover from clothing?
