Einstein once said if you cant explain it simple then you dont really understand it yourself This guy understands what he shares Been selling 5 years now and learned several things Im subscribing Great info thanks
This is the BEST video on pricing strategy I've seen. I wish I had seen this before setting my price on Amazon. Now I am stuck with a low price and keep losing the Buy Box because I didn't know how the system works. Going to follow your instructions and hopefully fix my pricing. thank you Dan!
I've been watching a lot of videos trying to learn on my own and let me tell you that your videos have been the best I've found - I love the way you explain everything in a simple, straight to the point and professional way not to mention the quality of your videos. You have helped me a lot, thank you very much.
You mention the Limited time deal preserves the price so we can establish enough sales to then use the cross out method. My question is does coupons also preserve the set standard price too ? Love your videos Great job
Man you just safed my day. I just launched my prodcut and I did know how to make a deal while my price is showing to customers alongside with discounted price
Very clear and informative, thank you Dan! To get the a striked through list price displayed, the product must have been sold at the list price during the last 90 days excluding promotional prices. Are the coupons considered as promotional prices as well?
Thanks for the video. Question: Why match the List price to the standard price? Won't the customer see instant savings if the List price is higher? Or do you suggest that if they don't match, the "scratch off" savings will never work? Bottom line, is there any benefit to having a list price that is higher than the standard price? Thanks
Hey Dan, for the scratch out price option, how would you do that if your intended target selling price is the top end of the listings in your niche e.g. say target SP = $29.99, I could not sell the product at say $34.99 at launch as otherwise nobody may buy it. How would I manage that?
Thank you a lot Dan!! These are the small detail changes that could have a big impact on the sales!! Thank you so much for sharing and keep posting videos!
I know the video is about us changing our prices, but I notice Amz is also using scratch out pricing as well. On my transaction report it shows I was debited, then credited this fee. Its listed as Promotional Rebate. I wouldnt think there would be a way to know if this as done by Amz or a seller.
If putting listing price the same as standard price (in order to achieve that red scratch through), will it be back since listing price means MSRP? Looks like it’s not a bargain then?
Cecilia good thought BUT the customers won't see the MSRP unless it's shown with a scratch out. In essence, it can't look bad, it can only look good - as it only shows when it's good.
Prime Exclusive Discount or Sales Price discount. Which price Strategie is better? We can't targeting non-prime customers with prime exclisive discount . But if we use sales price discount we can targeting all customers. How we can use both of them? Please can you give me some advise?
Dan, thanks for this, love your videos. However,, does the 'retail' and 'sale' price apply anymore? In UK, the only way to get the strikethrough is to reduce the price that you've 'actually' been selling at! Im also wondering how long you need to be selling at a certain price until you can reduce it and get the strikethrough.
Hi Dan, I applied strategy 1 for my new launch. But it does not show a "limited time deal" or "percentage" or "scratched price". I only see the discounted price of product, like $59.99 in your case. Is this normal? Please advise about how can I show the "limited time deal" text or scratched pricing, or discount percentage.
Such a clear and helpful video! Have been watching you and Seth's videos for a long period. Always useful content for sellers. Thanks! One question: I just launched a new product and if I use coupon and make enough sales when Standard Price was set equal to List Price, ex. $5 off coupon for $100 list price, will the system recognize $100 or $95 as the price that made the sales? I was thinking the strategies of using coupons first to accelerate the sales for the product launch without setting "sale price" for a period of time, and later on setting "sale price" (maybe combining coupons) to get the scratch-out price on my page. Do you think it's viable or any suggested strategies? Thank you!
hi Dan, thanks for video. I create a coupon. but it not seen on the green box in search. I can just see when i enter the asin. how it will be seen in the search on a green box? Please help me.
I tried Method 3 and got an error message "An error occurred when we tried to process your request. We apologize for the inconvenience." I have been out of stock for a few months, the current "your price" was the same as the "list price" and I sold 2 this week. Previously when in stock I had a $2 lower "Sale Price" but I wanted to get a "scratch out" for more visually effect. I added a Method 2 coupon.
great job Dan as always , I have a question what are the following amazon fees pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease: 1) FBA selling fees 2) FBA transaction fees 3) Service fees That you get from the date range report
Hi Dan, thank you for the fantastic informative video. I did the exact procedure you showed for method 1. However, only the sale price showed up and not the "limited time" "sale price" or scratch. Now it seems that the customers are not getting a good deal. Anything I should have done
Hi, thnx for the info. I have a product that it's main price is 36 for more then one month (no sales yet). I tried the strikethrough price to 30 using sale price but didn't work also tried to put a list price 45$, my listing is only showing 30 with no strikethrough. So what should I do?
Check if your sale price and list price were entered correctly and are reflected in the product information section of your Amazon seller account. Make sure that you have enabled the "show strikethrough price" option in your pricing settings. Contact Amazon seller support and ask them to check if there are any issues with your listing or pricing.
Hello Dan, thank you for video. Question, our standard price 29.99 and MSRP is 32.99, it's been for a while with this position and no scratch. what should we do with this case?
Argaeus you need to sell at 32.99 for long enough for it to work. I would slowly raise that STANDARD price to the same level, sell there and then lower standard price again. Slowly though and over time, each time making sales at the new price (eg $1 higher) until you get to match the MSRP.
Dan can you please tell how to enroll in Small and light program? Can we enroll sku from first day we create the listing and also can we price high 14 or 15$ and discount to make the price less than 10$ to make it eligible for Small and light program?
Hey Dan I have a question. Not sure if here is the best place tho hehe. If I get my stock ship at my home from Alibaba, how do I send it to Amazon warehouse ? Is it possible ? if yes, how do I do this ? DOnt really have time for now to do that myself ( shipping ect.) and of course I dont want to leave my actual job for now. Thanks ! :)
Ensure that your products are packaged and labeled according to Amazon's guidelines. This includes affixing a scannable barcode (FNSKU) to each item and packing them securely in boxes. Choose a shipping carrier: Amazon offers discounted rates for shipping to their warehouses through their partnered carriers. You can select one of these carriers or choose your own.
Hi, Dan! Great content but you might be wrong with the sale price. I never seen a red badge with "limited time deal" or "with deal" price when I apply a "sale price". Usually "limited time deal" is given by Amazon when you submit a "7 day deals" or "lighting deals". The other "with deal" (3.27) is also prime exclusive deals.
Hi Don, I have a question The price does not show up on the detailed page (see price in the cart). I tried to change the prices (sale price, your price, and list price) and reach to unify them all to the minimum but still the same issue?
Well done Great Moment! You could raise the price but do it in small increments over time, not one big jump just to reduce the risk of buy box problems. You could then offer a discount via a Coupon Clipping.
I tried this but nothing happend...no badges no was price nothing...what just happened was amazon lowered my prices without showing any badges n was price or percentage...
If you believe that Amazon has lowered your prices without your consent or in violation of their policies, you can contact Amazon seller support to request more information and to dispute the pricing changes.
@@qurat-ul-ainkahloon7296 A product needs to make some sales in last 30 days only then the was price and badges will show otherwise the prices will go down without any badges but in your inventory a green rectangular box will appear around the price which indicates that offer has been applied but was price or the badges won't appear the reason being that product hasn't made any sales at all in last few days
