Your channel was recommended to me by The Kneady Homesteader, but she said you may not be making videos anymore. I followed her link and I'm happy I did. We all go through seasons in our lives. As we get older our priorities change. Our children become adults and start their own lives and families. We realize that we have given so much of ourselves to so many for so long and didn't take time for our personal self. Now is your time. You have 7 years of videos here. That is a lot of work and a lot of knowledge. I will be watching them. I'm happy for you that you are making the changes you need and want. I will soon be 72 years old and I am finally able to pursue things that make me happy, also. Just wanted you to know that.

Family dynamics do change, as well as eating habits. Just go with the flow.

Life, like a good book, is full of lots of different chapters, and the story is constantly growing and changing. Don't ever be afraid to grow with the story, and through whatever chapter your life currently is.

You have to be true to yourself. Been there myself, still in transittion. It does take time. You seem to have found the way to release the physical items in an order that you can handle; jars, canners maybe books. That is progress in it self. Will miss watching your kitchen adventures. Life is about change, if you don't except it you will battle it and be much worse off mentally. My forced retirement has shown me this (arthritis). We are trying to simplefy our lives; though hubby keeps upping his end. Before I make this into a book I just want to say embrace this new freedom but if you need a moment to drop a tear just know that to is normal. Hugs to you in your new chapter.
