that’s that’s the best part is watching the children open their gifts that’s my favorite part. I love to see the little kids open the gifts. Make precious memories guys do it for the children. Our Christmas tradition for the past 37 years ... 1) read the Christmas story from The Seamless Bible which we read starting at Chapter 1 (Luke 1: 1, The Great Announcement) all the way through Chapter 3 (The Protected Childhood, Luke 2:52). Then we open presents. Your game at your Mom & Dad's looks like a real fun time. What a nice big group you guys had gathered together.

Your family is such a blessing to mine. We watch and remember our children growing up and all the "things". They are now 21(our son) and 24(our daughter) and still love our Christmas traditions. Our son is getting married in July and we are so excited to welcome a new family member and make new memories next year. Thanks for reminding us that things change and change can be awesome! Some of our Christmas Eve traditions are, going to church, Birthday cake with singing for Jesus, matching Christmas jammies and watching The Nativity Story a great movie of the Christmas story. I highly recommend it. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you!
Our Christmas Eve was extremely different this year and Christmas just wasn’t the same, I hosted but since losing quite a few family members last year, it was a hard year. Just means next year we will celebrate so much more. Thank you for your vlogs, I feel like I know your family even though we have never met. Blessings for a happy and healthy safe new year.

A Christmas tradition that I have had ever since I was a small boy, has to do with breakfast. My breakfast consist of bananas in a bowl of milk. For however many more Christmases I have that's what I'll eat. Merry Christmas and God bless your family.
My Dad’s birthday is on Christmas Eve so we usually have dinner either at home or we get takeout. Then we go to our candlelight service at church later in the evening.

We do Christmas pjs photos on Christmas Eve, then when everyone is up we are all in are Christmas pjs. And we also started playing left,right, center game but instead of using the chips that come with we use 3 1 dollar bills. And are Christmas was a little tough since this was are first Christmas without my parents parents (no grandmas or grandpa)
Christmas Eve box it comes with Christmas Jammies(or new robe) a book or movie and some sort of drink usually coco and his ornament for the year. We also cook a batch of cookies for Santa, hang Santa's key on the front door so he can enter the house without a fireplace. We also make it a habit to check Norad's santa tracker through the day(we leave it up on our computers) and close to bedtime we call Norad and ask where Santa is and when Santa is supposed to be in our area(It's a tradition that started with my parents and I used to love calling for updates). I want to add more to our christmas eve traditions but it's harder to do that when you're a military family you can't do a lot of the family based stuff. thanks for sharing your life with us and we're continuing to pray for health and healing for your Father and that everyone stay healthy into the New year!

In a recent vlog of violets she was at her parents house helping get the decorations up but never seems to be around the Somers’ vlogs anymore which is a shame as the children are cousins afterall.
