Thank you very much because this is the type of vacuum bottom that I need to replace the belt on. It is sold and it's a die hard. But the beater bar brushes not moving. And all the other videos are about wind tunnels. I needed to see how to take the bottom apart. Thank you
I have a eureka 4700. The little plastic wheels on the wheel carriage underneath that control the height adjustment are seized up due to rust and other things. I want to remove the wheel carriage to clean it up and get rid of the rust so the wheels can spin freely again but I'm not able to figure out how to do it and Google has been no help. Any ideas?
Thank you for your videos. You have helped me save my money this time . I need to buy a new belt for my eureka 2000 where can I find it? I am gonna check in Walmart besides that is there any other places we can easily get it.
I had to find new belts for my Eureka too. I went to Walmart for Eureka bags. Monson old fashioned one but I have good old brushes that hook to the stem. That are so old that the brushes bristles are like new. Well I just found out my beater bar brushed isn't turning. And I couldn't find a video on a vacuum that has the bottom part that needs to come out. And he did it he showed me. So I had to look on eBay I have style you Eureka upright and I found out that the vacuum cleaner bags were 54310c.. Walmart had was bags that said Powerline Electrolux and stuff like that in generic form. And I wanted actual Eureka bags. And a Eureka belt. I look for it online on eBay and I found it. It help knowing that item number for the bags. Because all they had was tun Eric's and last year I bought nine generic bags and none of them work right they're defective. So I actually found brand name Eureka bags and brand-name Eureka belt. I called Sears Center 1 800 number to talk to Vacuum Specialist and Google said any type new style bag is universal. And this guy told me no it's not you need the actual original bags. And they gave me the item number. And I found it. So thank God cuz I'm just trying to do tight places with my stem and hose. Because I'm trying to treat the house. With fleabusters powder and it needs to be vacuumed first. Well I found out when I use these bags they didn't work that I had from eBay. Now come to find my belt is bad. So I found them on eBay I couldn't find them at Walmart.
I have a eureka the boss vacuum cleaner, it doesn't have 4 screws to unscrew...do you have one of these that you can show me how to get the plate off so I can change the roller?
I Googled on how to change the belt. There's many videos that are for WindTunnel eureeka's. And the screws are on top. Well I needed a video like he just showed me. Which I couldn't find. And he showed me. Cuz mine's old. And it's the bomb. But I found it on eBay I called Sears vacuum Center. And he told me that I need Eureka brand the original brand for bags. Because Google tried to say The View type bag is universal and it's not. The guy told me know you need the original. But they don't make him anymore so he gave me the item number and I found it on eBay I bought nine of them. But I also found the belt on eBay. They didn't have it at Walmart. I don't know if you need the item number for your vacuum cleaner or not but like I said I called the Sears vacuum center. I got the number through Google.
Eureka Boss 4870 is a horrible piece of junk. Once the belt goes it is extremely difficult to replace. The belt has NO groove to keep it in place. It slides to the edge of the motor pulley. I have successfully changed the belt but it BY FAR the hardest belt I have ever changed. TOTAL CRAP.
