Thank you so much for this video! Our brand new pitching machine malfunctioned within the first 10 minutes of testing and this video helped with troubleshooting the issue. Sure of enough it was the fuse and replaced it with a new fuse. The pitching machine does come with 2 replacement 4A fuses located in the clear pouch attached to the bottom of the machine. You can also purchase a pack of 5A fuses at Home Depot or Lowes.
12" JUGS LITE FLIGHT FEEDER. HOLDS 15 BALLS. At further distances these balls would rise, and can also pitch curves and sliders by using the adjustments to tilt the angle of the wheel (not shown).
KEY POINT: Use "Slow Blow" fuse. JUGS says up to 6 amp is OK. AMAZON: BOJACK T5AL250V 5x20mm 5A 250V Slow Blow Fuses 5 amp 250 Volt 0.2 x 0.78 Inch Glass Tube Time-delay Fuses(Pack of 20 Pcs)
Great video! The fuse and fuse change-out seems to be the achillies heel of this machine (which I just ordered). How did the 5Amp fuse work? How did reversing the board go (seems like a genius move)?
Absolutely worth it for me and my situation. I like the feeder attachment that drops thirteen 12" softballs automatically into unit. One every 5 seconds. The machine also pitches some serious curve balls! Beyond that, it is a less expensive and easier to transport JUGS machine, shooting Lite-Flite balls. Lite-Flite balls are good tools as they are much safer than dimple balls in tight quarters, and at +40 MPH the ball rises.
