Changing Fuses / Fuse box location| Video #1 of 2 | VW CALIFORNIA T6 

Thank you so much! I have been searching for this fuse box location for too long. No online manuals or videos have revealed this and the manual is in German.

This reminds of my old Peugeot [back in 1996]... had a lighter like yours, and when I plugged my phone for the GPS and the Fuse stopped. I went to buy "only the blue one" and eery time I did something - I dont know what - the fuse went dead. I went to the garage, who changed it, did not do the "I dont know what" (because it was not identified) and it was working. As soon as I did this "I dont know what", it broke again. The result was : this is to heat the wire and light a cigarette. It does not do USB things... He changed it, and I forgot about it, because it worked until today... So, It could be this... who knows ! Chin up ! and lots of love to you all !

Thank you so much. Had the fuses out from under passenger seat, from fuse box in battery compartment. Would never have found these fuses without your help.

Glad you've been directed to the 'under seat' fuses. Obviously 95% of the vans made are just panel vans. So all the stuff in the dash is basically for the panel vans. Anything camping related hasn't been built into the dash so is found elsewhere (in this case with one of your leisure batteries). Don't feel too bad, most vw dealers don't know where the camping fuses are!

A lot of different hiding places they have in those vans and thanks to you I fond it but have to say it's not easy to get to them at al.

Did you check under the passenger seat? There's another set of fuses there.....i have a feeling the 12v socket fuses are on that one.

Is that 12v socket live all the time? If so its probably powered from the leisure battery, maybe a 15 amp fuse in the fuse box under the passenger seat?

I assume the charger works in the others? If so wonder if it's just dirty, if you get a cotton bud you might be able to clean it out.

man!!! this is not the way of removing this cover (bottle holder), there are two clips to be pressed together to remove and place the cover. this what you do is simply wrong… you should change your video before someone brakes his bottle holder this way…
