I had it explained to me one time that it feels like an earring, no pain, just there. The red skin is not from irritation it is granulated tissue and very normal.

Granulation tissue is quite painful. Just rotating the PEG hurts. However if 60ml of water in first it helps. From an adult with a PEG-J who used to have a PEG.
Calazime skin protectant paste clears granulation tissue an it does hurt, im an adult with a feeding peg tube an a alligery to tape an alit of meds but this works greatan doesnt burn like the other stuff out there for tisse build up
There isn't an exact time, but they send us a new one every three months but we have been told by his doctor if it hold water and works its fine to keep using it
Hi! Thanks for this video! I have a new adoptive son. I am asking that they do genetic testing for him. Do you mind me asking if Leon has a genetic diagnosis. My son is very similar in several ways to Leon. I told the medical staff that it would be very helpful if we can find a specific diagnosis.
