This is absolutely incredible tech, and certainly disruptive within the construction industry. I wonder if architects have an easier time designing homes when they can both simulate and realize their builds on a digital platform. I also wonder about the points of resistance: what does this innovation mean for home building professionals, and what will this industry look like in the next generation? Thought-provoking stuff!
I did NOT know most of that. Very interesting. I'm curious if this is only feasible in large cities or are you able to move the equipment far distances to build outside the city/cottages etc. I'm also wondering if there was damage, how easy is a repair to a concrete wall? If there was a failure, is it catastrophic or just localized. Very interesting....
I thought the same when I first ran into 3D printed houses. How would the 3D printing process or extruded materials vary from one climate to another. Are we confident enough to be mass building new developments with 3D printing in the future?
