Changing the air filter on a Bronco Sport (2021-2024)

After changing out the cabin air filter, it was time to change out the cars air filter. The manual recommends changing it every 30,000 miles. Might be a good idea to check yours first in case it is not too bad. You could use an air compressor to blow it clean if not too dirty. You will need a flat head screw driver to loosen the clamp. No other tools are needed. I like to clean out the filter case on any bugs or dirt also. If not bad, you can wiped it clean. My filter came with a gauze covering over the back that I removed. I could not find the OEM filter on Amazon. Dealer charges $26.49. I paid 13.99 for mine.

Thanks!! Been waiting for the Pirelli's to wear out so we could upgrade tires. Very happy with the look of them. They were on the vehicles we drove at the Bronco Off-Roadeo and they performed well.

@@broncomustangponypower Had a chance to try out the Trail Terrain tires yesterday. Was in the local town, had some hard packed snow on the streets. Tipped into the throttle a bit heavy. Accelerated like there was no snow. Stopping was excellent. Ready for winter. Also picked up a tiny CB radio. President Bill FCC. So small, it fits in the little cubby by the 12v and USB outlet. Got my first CB in 1967. New vehicles have no room for the older units.

@@fredhinck9685 Excellent!! Happy for you sir. I am glad they worked well plus they are some nice looking tires as well. I bought Falken Wildpeak AT3W tires Thursday. They are all weather even though in Texas, we are mostly dry mixed with some rain. Very little snow in DFW-more sleet/ice but that is only for a week.
