I hope this finds you well, I continuously hear the words “we live in unprecedented times”. We live in a time when logic is overruled by emotion and truth seems to be an unobtainable concept that is shrouded in one’s interpretation based on selfish intent. We live in a time when some are praised for doing wrong if it aligns with your beliefs but many are chastised for standing up for what is right if it goes against one’s agenda. Jagmeet, you claim to be a man that stands for what is best for the country. I do not follow or agree with all your convictions of what that means but also understand that you come from a different place diplomatically then I do. We may not agree in all policies but I think in basic principle we would. I would like to believe you want what is best for the country and want to stand for truth, justice, and be a man for the people. I feel Canada is currently at a crossroads. We currently have a government that is not pushing for what the people want but instead at least appear (through there actions” to have their personal interests at heart. This is evident through all the scandals and back door deals that are coming to light. You have an unbelievable opportunity to make a difference like no other Canadian. You are the one that holds the balance in your hand and the whole world is watching! Although the temptation to ignore the corruption in order to receive a payout in the form of a pension is the easy road, have you weighed out the true cost? I am not sure what I would do in your shoes, as the payouts seem to be high… but please keep in mind the cost if you choose this path. I know that you know the corruption and repercussions of the continuing the way things are going is not only tarnishing us on the world stage but is also destroying us from within. If you choose to stand for what is right and spin it proper, you would have an opportunity to build your party for the future as the true opposition… replacing the liberal party.
