I just made this background music my mobile's ringtone😁...you have used this music in the video on aurantimaculata too...just adds up to the vibes of the video..i just wanted to keep watching the video 🥺
Definitely no tank mates recommended. The only thing I could would be OK with a carnivore this size would be a very robust large pleco. Not to say I havent seen barcas with tank mates before. Have seen them even in with stingrays before, but I just wouldnt risk it.
I use air conditioning to control room temperature at night and during the winter periods. Depends where you live in the world and whether you can control room temperature as to whether you need a chiller. I prefer not to use chillers as they are expensive and all sorts of problems.
Disperse it on the surface with a rainbar, or block outlets to disperse water coming out. Still water doesnt necessarily have to be perfectly still, but definitely no big streams of water creating a current in the tank. Even though Channa can live in absolute junk water, with fish this size eating meat, if filtration isnt powerful enough the tank is going to have all sorts of problems and its definitely better to be on the safe side with filtration. I under filtered my Auranti tank previously and the tank was an algae mess, had to add in an extra filter to clean it up.
@@ChannaScaping ive let people tell me that you need moving water to prevent algae to grow. Currently i have a spraybar in the tank and alot of moving water. But no channa yet cause this issue is holding me back
@@dractartv4411 Yep, moving water definitely slows down some sorts of algae, but controlling algae is a huge topic, so many factors which contribute to its growth. A lot of moving water is definitely not ideal for channa, so you would have to find a way to tone that down before adding one to the tank.
I'm in Malaysia and I use aircon to bring the temperature down. If not possible for you, can also consider using a water chiller but I personally prefer not to use them as they always seem to have problems.
I see that as well, many put their Barca in with angels. I think it's more for display purposes to have something else moving inside the tank. For me I would be very worried about diseases from the other fish.
@@ChannaScaping i think barca is kinda special, it's main diet in the wild is insects and small mamals, and don't bother to eat other fish, (peaceful fish) they're only aggressive towards other snakehead species, and other aggressive fish that can be a treat. I think it's fine if you put other fish with him aslong as it's not as big as him and not so aggressive.
@@Bathingape888 ofcourse other channa species had fish on their main diet, and will attack anything smaller or in the same size, but channa barca is kinda special they don't attack other fish if it's not as big or bigger than them. Try it if you have channa barca, i want to know too if it's true.
@@ChannaScaping yes looking forward to it, I can't get a hand on barca cause it's too expensive in my country. I can even build a house by the price of it lmao.
