Esports are nice, but I wont be watching your honor of kings videos. I hope your content doesnt slow down a ton on wild rift but I know its unreasonable to believe that it wont be affected. I will say you are my perfered Wild Rift streamer/youtuber. Thank you for the transparency.
Tbh, just keep making the HOK videos if you want to. I personally won't be watching it since I'm a wild rift player. But you playing HOK will open you up to a new audience which will always be good. Good luck Stu!
HoK is not better than AoV of MLbb and far behind WR imo. Super annoying multiplication of currencies, chests, etc. No fog of war. Tower/minions/damage balance completely off (it feels minions are completely useless after 2 waves). Almost no way to come back in a game once your team gets behind. Even at the basic UI level, it sometimes feels weird (for example with Hou Yi, it doesn’t feel like I can kite and shoot seamlessly). I don’t really know why but there is a dramatic quality to WR games that I don’t find in other MOBAs. HoK is not unpleasant to play but no way as gripping as WR. Like all other MOBAs it has been unable to hook me like WR does.
HOK was released as Chinese Version by Tencent on 2015...That was before AOV and MLBB so.....U better know that HOK was highly popular since almost decade
@@boxerkrisnan Maybe true (future will tell) but there are many off-game reasons (economics, corporate strategy, marketing, e-sports support, etc.) why a game can die and it does not always mean that it is fundamentally worse than the competition at the pure gaming level. But it is all good I think: some people might enjoy HoK better, others WR better. Others may decide to play both. As long as every one is happy.
@@ChristophePozet WR anyday is the best moba game for mobile. But RIOT chose to let the game die a slow death. The game is still not available in INDIA. Players use vpn and it hinders the game for all. Not sure what's stopping these guys to make the game available in india. Also they need to advertise the game more. I've never seen a WR ad in my lifetime.
Mate, I get it. You love WR, but HOK is the MOST PLAYED mobile MOBA in the world. HOK Group's estimated annual revenue is currently $1.4B per year. Honor of Kings Invitational 2024 Season 1 Prize Pool: $300,000 USD. ALL WildRift pro players will go to HOK for money. All content creators will stream HOK. Some like Stu and HellDevill will do both but if WR esports doesn't come back then, in time, most of the players from WR will go to HOK, because HOK is FAR WAY BETTER then MobileLegends Bang Bang. Some PRO players from Mobile Legends are going to HOK for MONEY.
Personally man, I love that you being transparent. It's rare to find one nowadays and big respect that you just stick with your guts and just play and stream what you love. I'll be watching both your WR and HoK stuff. Looking forward to it!
You're my favorite English WR streamer/RU-vidr cause you always defend it & are positive about it. You are very passionate about WR & I appreciate that. I also love your WR website. I get ALL my builds from there. I will only watch & Like your Wild Rift videos as usual 😊 Not interested in HoK or other Chinese/generic MOBAS at all. LoL/WR is just too good & I love it since 2011 😃 Best of luck, Stu!
It won't matter whether it's honour of kings or wild rift , I entered wild rift because you made me play it, seeing it exciting and made it fun for me and for I thank you very much . I am looking forward for what you will do for honour of kings, cause I still need your guide, cause your guides helped me become better
Watched the first HOK video, not my game. Ui looks awful, animations clumsy - not my game, looks like a bad WR copy. WR has more potential, hopefully they fix the matchmaking finally...
We just want you to enjoy the content that you post. Please don’t stress yourself over how your audience might react to another moba on the channel. Just focus on your pace and you’ll do good Stu ❤
I wish Wild Rift did have more eSports, its unfortunate that it isnt supported as much. I'm not sure about HOK, but I love your Wild Rift content, and I look forward to your future videos. Thanks for the update, glad you aren't going anywhere!
I fully support you starting HoK content if that’s what you want to play! You’ll open up to a new audience and do just fine. I however will not watch HoK either. Not my cup of tea but I support your choice either way!
Nothing will come close to WR other than eSports but who knows when will Riot step on the gas again for the eSports scene. Youre still my go to content creator for WR, good luck on your HoK contents.
Good luck in this additional venture. Who said that only woman can do 2 things at the same time 😂My wife would kill me if I was starting a second game so I will stick to wild rift for now.
Nothing wrong with diversifying your content a bit, yet I'm glad you won't quit Wild Rift for good: you're one of the few content creators that doesn't click-bait newbies. I may or may not be watching the HoK content depending if the game hooks me (no fog of war, a little too fast paced to feel strategic at first glance, etc) but I wish you best luck on your journey.
I even play both WR and HOK....Maybe I better make content writing about HOK as well on my facebook page....Don't think that I'm not writing WR...I'm still writing WR Japanese Seiyuu birthdays and others. The only problem is in Myanmar...Network stability is getting worst than ever......
I discovered you on Wildrift, so I'm more interested in watching you more on Wildrift Content, but I also started playing HOK so I may watch HOK content.. but I more interested in Wildrift Content..
Mate, I respect you and you are FREE to do what you want. I love both games, but, as you said, without esports a MOBA game is not what is suppose to be. Imagine League of Legends without esports. Don't worry mate, HOK global will grow. Do your job and money will come. Riot realized that WR came out way too late and most of the teams are in this 2 mobile MOBA: HOK and MLBB. I don't think that WR's global esport will come back. SAD but true.
If Wild Rift did release in India, I believe the viewer count would've dramatically risen, India is one of the biggest mobile game markets. Too late now i guess.
Riot makes it so difficult to enjoy wildrift, the game is littered with issues and it's been years with no fixes to core issues. At least with HoK the devs seem to reapond to issues in a timely manner.
I'm a big Wildrift fan so I'd keep it 💯...Riot treats Wildrift like a key holder...almost a decade they refused to release the game globally.....I've been playing HOK for a few hours today and I have to say it's more fluid and less tacky...plus HOK has the support and potential to attain any heights....
For me mobile moba is wild rift if riot decided to shut down then i quit but I will never switch other clone games, whatever do your best it's your career We always support u
Yeah I understand where you’re coming from the game doesn’t feel as smooth as wild rift but it’s just the esports and popularity in China that makes it so big
@@iTzSTU4RT so basically, EU/NA esports will die in HoK anyways because of the popularity in Asia? It is just the hype that makes a lot of players hop on to the game. But the playerbase will decrease rapidly in the coming weeks since most of the players trying HoK are already invested in MLBB or in WildRift.
@@invictus3515 I agree honor of kings is a bit late but honor of kings is the original and first mobile moba to come out. Will be interesting to see viewship and popularity in Europe but as you said kinda hard to
@@invictus3515 yeah, not quite. They're targeting mlbb content creators and players too. Almost 80% of mlbb content creators in my country made a contract with HOK. Same goes for WR content creators. They're actually doing what mlbb and WR should have done in the first place. "Use famous content creators to expand their games" and i'm afraid, that slight difference is the deciding factor whether HOK will be successful or not. It does look promising tho.
Hello stu youve done more than enough for wildrift its ok to not focus on it anymore because it does not care towards streamers and global players as well only china. Its also understandable to transfer to HOK since it gives more opportunities to you than in wildrift. But still do some vids some WR especially for major updates or new champ release.
i wont judge you tho, but HOK might die in weeks because on how similar it is with Mobile legends.....too easy as well to play to be competitive,. wildlrift is good itself but.... has a ton of shty side, I really hope riot actually pay attention to advertising the game rather than being to confident with the LEAGUE OF LEGENDS name of wildrift. i actually tryd HOK yesterday but i uninstalled it halfway of the tutorial 😅
