Enjoyable night. Ram packed! Channel One selection can't be beaten, Mikey is just a master working the crowd up with different cuts and his sound board. Shiloh was heaviest but am not a big fan of that euro/trance steppers style really. Iration very consistent and good interaction, Don't Wanna Be A General was a highlight. It was just a shame knowing the sounds weren't allowed at all close to their potential. All's said and done a successful night, good to see :)
Strict sound restrictions in place, seemed they were instructed not to push past 110dB. From above I could see the sound guy's screen flashing red whenever it went over :(
Yeah this was an absolute pisstake tbh. The management were happy to advertise full soundsystems in operation, yet limited them all to such a low volume. The venue raked in the money regardless though, eh!
Not sure where the SPL meter was, but if it's reading 110dB 10 meters from the systems you are talking 130dB 1 meter from the rigs. I for one quite enjoyed Iration Steppas not distorting their sound because they are driving it to hard
