Thanks for the channel update. Definitely understand the not fishing when it’s cold and windy out. And yes spooled up some new line the other day tied a nice knot on lure then looked yep missed an eye! Practiced my knot again! Have a great day!
I just wanted to take a moment and thank you for all your help and reviews on JDM gear. I just recently discovered your RU-vid channel and really enjoy your content. I have so far ordered a Abu Garcia eradicator with a revo mgx theta and a major craft finetail banshee with a Shimano twin tower. Next I’m looking into one of the major craft finetail stream rods but I’ve picked a bad time to start purchasing JDM gear due to lack of inventory…… I also will be looking into JDM tackle and line based on your reviews. Thanks again for all the information and help you have provided me with and keep up the good work!
Hey Randy just received my 6' 10" from the same guy you got from and the 6' 7" costing au$ 899.00 from the same seller so I did a little digging and found a tackle shop retail au$ 499.00 after discount it was au$ 379.00 and if I were to buy two it'll be more discount lol, now I have a 6' 10" and a 6' 7".
Hey Randy . Loved the channel talk video . Would love to see more Q and A videos . Thank you for reading out my comment/question . I was both shocked and very pleased by it . You are like my Ultra light Guru !!! My Tenryu Raz Spectra arrived yesterday . Perfect timing for your video . It is as you said a stunning work of art and truly beautiful . Im so glad i made the purchase . Im hoping to take the rod out and try it this weekend on my local river for anything that will bite . Its cold here in the UK and my last 2 short local outings resulted in cold hands and not even a sniff of a bite from a fish . Hopefully tomorrow the fishing will improve . Unfortunately we dont get many Varivas hi tech lines here in the UK at the test/PE ratings that i would need for this rod . What we do have in the Varivas range is over the top expensive for the lower end budget range in th Varivas lines . So the Varivas Infinity PE and the Varivas Super Trout Advance Twitch Master Nylon will have to wait until i can afford to make another purchase for something from Digitaka . That free shipping with rods and reels really helps . I would love to enter the competition but unfortunately im not in the 48 states being here in the UK . I do have some YGK G-Soul X4 Upgrade PE 0.25 and 0.3 braid which im not a fan of but will do for now . I will be using the major craft zoner minnows , Forest Miu 2.2g spoons and other ultra light Major craft and Rapala minnows i have . I will also take the trout magnets i have as back up . Apologies for my long comments . I will let you know how i get on with the rod . Take care and thanks again . Sore lip em all !!!
I really like the Varivas Area Super Trout Master Limited VSP Fluorocarbon. It's one rank thinner than the Blue Moon Fluorocarbon. It's clear rather than blue and it only goes up to 2.5lb test, unfortunately. If they made it in a higher test like 3 or 4 lb test I'd definitely use it over Seaguar R18 LTD.
The 69 xul version Eradicator is one of the best rods i use. I would say its a bit more exciting to use than my 67 sul version.. I love both of my eradicator, you cant go wrong with both.It is way more senditive than my daiwa iprimi xxul.. The xxul is a fan rod to use also but not quite sensitive as 67 or the 69 version of eradicator..
Thanks for watching. The rods are different in action....the Eradicator is a crisper, yet slower rod, but they are both very sensitive. The Tict has a very unique feel when fish hit. This is difficult to explain unless you have fished the Tict. If I know I am after crappie, and crappie only, I would take the Tict...if after bluegill the Eradicator. If after both the Eradicator.
@@troutmagnetman Thank you. I currently own the 45ULB-3, and it feels amazing the hands. A little on the stiff side for a UL rod, but for the kinds of lures I will be throwing this season (4g sinking minnows and spoons of the same weight) it will be just perfect.
Hi Randy, just sub to ur channel :), just wanna ask you since you been fishing with light gear what type of line that you think suit a 1000 size reel for inshore fishing thank you and have a great weekend mate.
I ordered the 7’3 version slow taper special of this rod. Never fished it but was wondering if it would be good for stocked trout at lakes that are like a pound or sometimes 2lb
