Hey there, Duncan! Thanks for taking a moment to share some knowledge. I've only just begun to really invest in using x64dbg, learning about the Windows API, etc. It's such a vast world, but I'm really enjoying it so far. As I continue on, feel free to contribute to the conversation or steer me in the right direction if I misspeak or misunderstand something. I plan to use x64dbg a lot in subsequent videos, so I hope to do it justice eventually. =) Thanks again for your feedback and I'll be sure to look into what you recommended!

Hey! Thanks for watching. =) I'll definitely be covering much more advanced stuff in coming videos, but they'll be interspersed in with more common cheat videos. The only way I can continue to successfully grow my channel the way I want is to do game-specific cheat videos, so I'll likely always do those to some extent. I also prefer that route because I want to show people how to find stuff and create cheats themselves (as opposed to making a table that I give out, then have to worry about trying to keep updating as the game updates, etc., etc. -- ain't nobody got time for that, lol). With that said, I am definitely going to be moving forward with more complex subject matter in the near future!

Thanks for the clarification! I should have read into it instead of assuming it did what I thought it did based on me successfully finding my way to that thread. I'll certainly be more careful about my language next time if I'm not actually sure what something does (or I'll just look it up so that I definitely know what I'm saying, lol). =)

Hmm. Depends on the application, as well as which language you want to use. This might just be a high-level task you could script. At a lower level, you'd need to open the process, find the memory address(es) where the values are stored, then write your function(s) to do whatever you'd like with that data, and finally write the value back to the memory address. It's commonly a value in memory in the gun's structure. So, if you find ammo, you could browse the memory region and watch nearby values as you shoot the gun, then change ones you see turning red. Alexey Uvarov I then have significantly less screen real estate to work with and I hate that. This solution almost isn't much better, though, lol. I'm going to play with placement of the magnifier to see how it pans out elsewhere. This is a work in progress. =)

That sometimes does the trick! But they're checking for more than that with this (that was the first thing I tried). Using unsigned CE is what people elsewhere have been doing for this game. I may reverse this further and do a lesson based on it. =)

renaming ce exe is not enough (e.g: ce.exe -> bla.exe) - you also have to edit ce exe file with a hex editor and then rename anything that includes ce characters (e.g: C.h.e.a.t. .E.n.g.i.n.e -> T.r.y.t.o. .f.i.n.d.m.e). :)
