Your reading is beautiful. But Ganesha has nothing to do with an elephant. A mouse from Ratatouille might be a better bet as a Ganesha messenger rather than an elephant. A Rat is his animal. Why he got an elephant head was because his divine mother wanted him to live after he was accidentally attacked by a God. The elephant head is just is a testament to a mother son relationship nothing else. He doesn't show up between hordes of elephants. He is a master of knowledge. He will show up between nuns and priests in churches and temples or universities where there is knowledgeable discours.
