Im praying people wake up and take some contemplation time - deep and critical thinking and opening ourselves to what truly matters in the life experience is key to our future survival in the scary world unfolding before us. The truth for many seems to be hard to face and most would rather hide away behind the blindfold of the bland distractions that are ‘provided’ to divert and control. A recalibration is truly needed before the World totally self-implodes. We are on the brink and free thinkers like you Tony are so needed to guide and awaken us. You are thought provoking, funny, kind, emotional and spiritual - I so appreciate what you offer and am sending so much love and light to you and all my fellow poopsies. ❤️
I don't disagree, but people who go outside also live in a bubble, sometimes even moreso. We all realise what truly matters, but not all of us have it. When people have mistreated, abused you and left you isolated, those experiences ate cut short and most of what you have are distractions, or even if you don't... does it matter? It's all crap, as you said, so what is the difference between spending the day at the beach or at home with distractions? Where are the people who are judging you? Are they inviting you out for coffee and being kind? Are they taking you out for a walk? Nope, they're also sitting their asses and judging, or they're out there doing whatever they want with their lives, going to the beach, and leaving their slaves to watch you, while they take away your friends, family and closest relationships from you and destroy them one by one, including the fake relationship you had with them, that now became nothing but an intricate delusion, but that weaves a web so tight, it leaves you unable to form any other bonds, or get back the ones you had before it all. Distractions or time outside are a difference that only matters to those in privilege, those who actually get to live free from these people's webs. We all know what he said is true, but unless you're watching other people's lives and contributing to the problem yourself, none of it matters.
And tbh, I don't know what you're talking about or what distractions, videogames can be a distraction but I don't use them as such. The problem isn't the distractions, it's the world building and web weaving some people make in real life. That is the problem. You can disconnect and get away from a screen at any time, but you can't disconnect from what should be your real world and is now permeated by something more like the matrix than your own reality. You assume your reality usually is just a string of coincidences, happenstances, but when someone (or some people) is manipulating those circumstances and constructing a world, manipulating how it works and your relationships, it stops being so, it stops being reality, because I do not agree with the meaning of reality in the cartesian sense, but when someone, a real person or several, manipulates it, it does get into cartesian theory of the alien who controls it all territory. Organic reality though, even if sometimes serendipitous, isn't like that, so if you have an eye open, the difference becomes very clear from organic reality and the cartesian reality of someone pulling the puppet strings.
