Yup. Ian was spot on with his take. People can jump over a car, if it's fast enough, but you can't make contact. People have done a backflip or something over a F1 car, so it's absolutely doable.

I think.... Maybe.... If it were moving at 10 or 15 mph, maybe.... He could perform the feat he is talking about.... M A Y B E.... And even come out of it with minimal damage. It won't look like what he is probably thinking of/describing tho lol. In that sense, if they get his ass to sign a waiver mind you... They could MAYBE™®©, CONSIDER doing a video about this, at least talking about the logistics of it, and MAYBE trying it with a less.... World shattering, sized car. Ideally not moving first so we can see if he can at least perform the feat he is describing, cuz it's definitely going to look differently to what he has in his mind about it (ngl, at first, I thought it was feasible.... These myriad discussions about the practicality of performing the feat, has long since talked me out of it tho lol. I do think there's feasibility in a lower impact version of this thought experiment, maybe even without him getting hurt substantially.... Believe it or not. Lol.) I wanna double emphasize, yes im aware even the most delicate version of this idea, will likely end up in a sprain or similar injury at least.... When people are doing these stunts for movies and stuff, they don't convey the actual aftereffects of physical damage simply suriving a car jump actually does to the body. Likelyhood is high he would get hurt, but also I'd think that is what's coming to mind when he describes the feat to begin with. Literally surviving the encounter is in itself a feat... If he isn't taking any level of injury into consideration, then idk what to tell him lol.

I feel like you'd have a way better chance at fighting a horse than jumping over a car at 40mph, cause at least you might be able to dodge the horse's kicks, though one good kick from a back leg and you've got several shattered ribs or a fractured skull, so it would look like a Dark Souls boss fight. I'm Autistic/ADHD enough to research this (yes I'm diagnosed with both, not making a joke), but couldn't find any answers to compare a horse's skull to a human's for break-ability. But I did find out it only takes 20lbs of force to close a human trachea (aka throat jab) and like 150lbs to break it (crush your windpipe), and pro boxers can exert nearly 800lbs in a punch (though it's like 200lbs for an average person), so if you're trained enough, you might be able to crush a horse's windpipe with a punch? Or at least stagger it long enough to try to sweep it's back legs and then stomp the head? I'd say jump on the back and rabbit punch it in the back of the head repeatedly (rabbit punches have a high risk of dealing permanent brain stem damage to humans), but unless you're a regular at the rodeo, that thing's bucking you off in a heartbeat. Idk, but I drank an energy drink earlier and just wasted like half an hour on this for no reason

Horses' feet are shaped so that they're essentially walking on tip-toes, so they can't dig their heel into the ground, so if you could dodge the front legs when it rears up (an instinct for getting it's neck out of reach of predators) then you could probably football tackle it while to sweep out a back leg and topple it. There's a reason broken legs are so devastating for horses, because they essentially can't really limp in a way that keeps weight off it, and they're slow to stand up. So I do feel like if you could manage to knock it over, you would be able to get several good head/throat stomps in.
