On May 27, we all worked together to raise money to help the people of Japan who were affected by the devastating earthquake and tsunami. Performers from all across the Stickam community, including numerous bands and musicians, worked with us to present 14 hours of nonstop coverage.
Stu Stone, host of Stickam's first and longest running weekly show Sunday Nite Stu took over as emcee for the evening, presenting an evening of stellar live performances from The Roxy. First to the stage was Japanese-American singer Mallory Low, who opened the evening by performing the nation anthems of both the United States and Japan. A last-minute addition to the lineup, Alex Lambert (from American Idol and If I Can Dream) helped pack the house early with his set. The Drills, Natalise, Juke Kartel, Abused Romance, and B-Real and friends kept the momentum going throughout the night. DJ Rossstar and Hawk also joined Stu between segments to interview the performers.
