I've been going to Abq dragway for the past 20 years and to see a car not smoke the tires is so cool to see. The evolution of our track has been pretty impressive thru the years.Great job by the track guys!
It is 1/8th mile and you're failing to realize that with corrected altitude that Albuquerque sits higher than Denver. In 60 years there had never been a 3 second pass in the 1/8th mile at the track even though other funny cars and pro mods had raced there. The Williams Brothers Racing funny car can run well into the 60s in prime conditions.
